************* of Orchids Amore and Pelican Coast Farms was listed as an elite seller on the *********************** website. I ordered 4 orchids for a total cost of $88. When the orchids arrived they were in terrible condition. The 2 oncidiums were in poor condition with lesions suspicious for odontoglossum ring spot virus. The phaius orchid looked like it had been hacked up with a weed eater. The phalaenopsis equestris had crown rot and all of the roots were mush. I sent ************* 2 emails and received no response. I contacted the *********************** to let them know that their "Elite" orchid vendor was selling plants that belong on the $1 rescue plant rack at ******** As of January 1st he will no longer be recommended on the *** website. I called ************* and gave him an additional chance to make the situation right. He told me that the phalaenopsis equestris was green and healthy and that I shouldn't have repotted right away. I don't normally repot orchids immediately but these were in such poor condition, I wanted to check the roots. That turned out to be a wise decision. I have all 4 orchids isolated in ********** so as not to infect the rest of my collection with any possible disease. ************* constantly interrupted me during the conversation and repeatedly spoke over me. The call amounted it a big gaslighting situation where he blamed me because he sold me half dead plants.
