I once had a dream to build a pool. I hired Rose Pool, contracted with them on 1-9-2022. They turned my dream from a nightmare to a horror story. Dan Edwards was here to measure on day one. His measurement installed the pool in the wrong place and not deep enough. I tried to ask questions before the concrete pour, he cussed me out. Told me to build my own F pool and called me a F *****. Pool #1 Concrete was poured. Steve came to pick up another payment (32,298.00) after the 1st concrete pour. He never even noticed the pool was almost 1 and 1/2 foot above the existing lanai. The following day, the spot survey confirmed the pool was on the lake maintenance easement. Pool had to come out, concrete and all. They tried first to mask it by taking down a wall even though it wasn't dug deep enough. They destroyed my entire lawn and sprinklers, cracked the driveway and sidewalks. The yard was left unkept for weeks. Neighbors phoned the county daily for the safety fence constantly down. HOA contacted me daily for the excess going into the lake and the mess in the yard. The delay of this pool build caused me to be without homeowners' insurance during Ian. Super gutters leaking for over a year. Thankful for Southern Aluminum a subcontractor hired by Rose Pool to allow me to communicate with them direct. I still have one pool jet not working. I do not have warranty paperwork for the equipment. I personally had to install a gate on the pool skimmer. To sum it up: 2 poured pools, 3 decks, three sheer descents (waterfall cuts and fixes). Jet that isn't connected and or working since day one. Pool contractor who never supervised, only would say he is a small company and doesn't have the availability of good sub-contractors.
