We decided to sign a contract with Tropical Pavers in Sept. 2021 to install our fiberglass pool and its still not done almost 16 months later.I have written more emails to them to try to finish the process At this point they have not installed the pool cage or the salt water system. For months, when I ask when it will be done they keep giving me later dates. Its been very difficult for us to not have a cage as we have four dogs. She is now blaming it on the Hurricane but this problem started long before that I have many emails with them proving this has been a long issue We just want it done and over with. ***** was saying it would be done in December and now again she delayed it to January

*********** forgot to mention after contracting the city required far more to obtain her permit due to her property sits in a tie line in which the city was requiring an extensive amount of other plans. After so many phone calls, additional plans   and back and forth with the city we finally obtain permit.. This process was lengthy and highly cost. Upon approval we waited for manufactory to delivery her pool shell. We began construction. Her pool is  running and deck is set, it can be very well enjoyed.. I also have been in communication with her husband who has been very understanding of this process. After the hurricane *** many people has been affected by this storm and Alunimium structures are a bit behind due to the demand and shortage of materials. Again I have explain to *********** the devastating issue that many in the south ******* are living at the moment. At no point I have disregarded *********** needs, however she continue not to understand the situation at the moment and continues to write treating emails . I have informed ********** her cage is on schedule for January.

I am rejecting this response because:

we have had this issue for months, prior to the Hurricane.
they didnt apply to the county for months after we gave them deposit.  Once they told us the problem we supplied pictures and it was resolved

they dropped a pool shell in our front yard on June 3 and it sat there for months.
they dragged their feet through the whole process not caring how much a ripped up yard for months affected their customer

Then they dropped off a salt system converter in our yard and didnt connect it to it floated away in the hurricane

they dont want to replace it until its covered by insurance even though it was their error

we have been trying to get the cage done since prior to the hurricane and now shes blaming it on that

recently we were told it would be done mid to late December and now she says January.  The next thing it will be February

I have never in my life dealt with a company like this or felt I needed to go to BBB for a company but this has been unbelievable

the only resolution is to have the salt system and cage installed asap

      Sincerely,

      ***************

No so true. It didn't take a picture to get permit issue. It was far from that!. The point is ********** has been difficult and unreasonable due to permit situation in which we tried out best to fulfill the city request to be able to have an approval. We as a company don't make the rules and regulations of her property. Again at no point we have disregarded her needs and her cage is on schedule for January.

Construction a pool but in the process of the construction the inspection was not executed . Now the pool is done but without any inspection and required engineering to sign off the final inspection. Still have my last payment in hold but my loan company want to give that away. With out the final inspection the pool is not in the House property.

Early December, while installing a pool for the neighbors behind us, a company worker knocked over our fence while using an excavator. He was working alone. We watched it happen from our back porch and tried to directly confronted the worker, unfortunately he did not speak English and could give us no information about the company he works for, nor his bosses name or number. We got in our car and drove around the block to the next street over hoping to see a truck with a company logo or speak with the home owner to get information to have the company repair the fence. By the time we got to the house, just a few minutes later, the worker had fled the scene. No worker, no truck, and they left the excavator half leaning into our fence. At that time we did make a police report to document the occurrence and took a lot of photos of the scene. The next day we went to the home owner who was not even informed this had happened, and got the company name. Unfortunately for us the company goes by 2 different names, as seen on their website, "Tropical Pavers and Pools LLC" and "Tropical Pavers and Stone" . We have now been calling them twice a month for 3 months, and left at least 6 voicemails with no response. No one has ever even answered the phone there. This has also since been reported to the Sheriff's office to add to our report. All we are trying to accomplish is to have our fence repaired.
