    I rented a place back in 2015-2018. My realtor ********************* with Realty, Rent and Sales was the one I was working with. When I had moved I was fraudulently charged of $3537 for things that was not of my doing. I paid a security and dog fee and moved in with the intention, from what **** had stated, that they were putting new flooring down before I moved in as it was all original flooring and all the cabinets in kitchen and bathroom, the floors underneath the carpet was soft and needed repaired in several places and also the tiles kept coming up in the entry way, which none of this was done and **** stated they decided to just carpet clean. She also told me not to clean the place when leaving as I was going to get charged anyways and it would be taken out of my security deposit. After all was said and done, I was charged for replacing a 10 year old carpet. I didnt realize this until I got something on my credit report a year later, July 11, 2019. At this time I reached out to **** and I told her that I was not going to pay for something that was not my doing and also was to be replaced before my renting. I also find out that the whole place was renovated after I moved out and it took months, so for **** to charge me for something that they planned on doing and should have been done prior to me moving in is totally outrageous and injustice. I told her I was directly contacting the owner to make sure he was aware of these charges of $3537 that **** was trying to collect from me. I also told her that my security deposit of $1800 and also pet fee that they kept should have covered the cost of cleaning.At that time, back in July 2019, of her knowing I was contacting the owner she had removed it from collection until just this last month, June 2024, it shows up on my credit report again. Have not received anything or heard anything of this charge after it was removed 5 years ago.

    Kim, you skipped out on your lease, behind in rent, did not clean and collections has been calling you for 6 years.  I have the entire call and collection notice logs from them, it is extensive and they have spoken to you and you refused to pay.  You broke the lease stating in an email you had an opportunity to travel with your new boyfriend and could not pass up the opportunity.  You are just upset because you don't want to pay what you owe and what you also promised to pay when signing the lease.  You did not fulfill your obligation or make any attempts to pay the owner what you promised you would pay.  Your lease is clear that your forfeit your deposit, will be charge mandatory housekeeping and carpet cleaning and remarking fee when breaking the lease.

    No worries, this is a faults statement and I will take it higher. I have not received any calls regarding this and I receive my credit report often and it has not been on there nor have I received anything by mail. I left 2 months before the lease and it was to be put up for lease, as stated on the lease to be filled after me and it was their decision to not do as such, they decided to renovate instead. Also 1350 for damages that were there prior to me moving in, is not my responsibility as well. We can and will continue to battle this, besides the many things that I had to fix in the unit while I was renting it because maintenance was never available. I will be making reviews as well as contacting the owner as I had spoken before.
