Before moving in, I was emailing back and forth with a man from MS renewal stating that there was something wrong with the AC in the house. This was 3 weeks prior to us moving in, He told me that he would submit a request to have someone come out and work on it. Our lease stated that we were to move in to the property on March 18th, upon arrival to move in i was unable to get into the house because; a) who ever rekeyed the home did not rekey it right so the key was not turning and b) the deadbolt lock has a touchkey pad which required a code which I had NEVER received from MS renewal, I called the main number was put on hold, I also texted maintenance. That very night at about 9pm I received a text from a maintenance person asking if I was able to get into the house. I told him that we were not and that we needed a code, he stated that he would have to send a message to the supervisor but of course they probably would not get back to me because it was the weekend, (and mind you I was already supposed to be in the property on March 18th) . On march 19th, I spoke with a customer service person who told me that there were multiple codes to try to get into the lockpad on this property. He had given me one, when i came to try that code it was not working and low and behold the lockpad was not charged meaning, it was dead because the lockpads are digital. i called again while standing here and someone told me that i should charge the lockpad, I couldn't understand why she would tell me this, its not like I carry a portable charger and mind you, I shouldn't have to. I ended up calling a locksmith just to move into this property, which was on my dime because MS renewal stated that I should not have paid for that but i told her that i was standing outside the door waitiing to move in and officially that day i had no where else to go. Did they want my family to be homeless because if we had waited for them to come - THEY NEVER WOULD HAVE!!
