I asked clean initiative to come and give me a quote for my roof. They came out and did measurements in February. They claim I signed a contract stating I would get a new roof with them BEFORE I saw the estimate. They sent me this contract via email and wanted me to sign electronically. Therefore my signature would be electronic. They forged my signature on these documents. Another mitigation company gave them my drivers license without my consent. They contacted my attorney after I was awarded money for a new roof trying to say they need the money. They did 0 work on my house and put a $3000 lien on my house because they wrote up a contract and an estimate. They made an exaggeration on his estimate for my roof as well. In October of 2023 a representative from Clean Initiative came to my home to access the damages from hurricane ***. I was assured that they would fix my home and all I had to do was "pick out paint colors". In early November of '23 a mold mitigation company came and removed the molded drywall and insulation. At this time - OVER SIX MONTHS LATER, Clean Initiative has yet to reconstruct my home! All four bedrooms and one of my bathrooms are closed off and unusable. Much of the drywall and insulation is missing, I have studs, block and visqueen. I sleep on the living room floor on a futon mattress (I don't like to advertise this but I am 60 years old)! Do you know that it is quite hot here in *******? My air conditioning is blowing out the roof!!! It runs non-stop!!! I normally have the thermostat at 78 and I had to set it to 80 to get the A/C to stop SCREAMING!!! I cannot park in my garage as it is filled with my boxed personal belongings that were moved out there by the mold mitigation team. Said boxes are currently being invaded by bugs and lizards. I have been patient and I have been understanding but I AM DONE! This has caused me a great deal of stress, I had to go to the Dr. and get on medication. I can't believe I put my trust and my home in the hands of this company!Initial Complaint

I began working with Clean Initiative after Hurricane ***. To this day I can not get a final inspection passed on my roof repair. Multiple phone calls and conversations daily with the same response waiting on a report.Business response

We want to assure you that our commitment to resolving your issue is unwavering. It's important to note that the insurance company did not cover the full cost of the roof replacement. Despite this, we at Clean Initiative have proceeded to cover the expenses and have successfully completed the roof replacement at our own cost. We are pleased to report that the new roof is not experiencing any leaks.
The current delay in passing the final inspection is due to our awaiting the completion of a crucial roofing affidavit form by an engineer. This form is a mandatory requirement by the city and needs to be notarized. We understand the importance of this document and have already made the necessary payment to expedite the process.
Please rest assured that we have been diligently following up on this matter with the engineer and have been in constant communication with you, providing daily updates. Our team is working tirelessly to ensure that all necessary documentation is completed and submitted as quickly as possible to finalize the inspection process.

For the past 16 months this roofing company took in the assignment from my fiancs insurance company to fix our house roof because of a leak. They were paid and never started our project. As of June 2023 the company was suppose to start and never has. We have called and emailed them as well as left emails over 20 times without a response. We contacted local news and paper. They still havent replied. 3 weeks ago they dropped the supplies off on our roof, and just left them to rot. We are very angry and upset. Our roof is still leaking in our home, by the way, which my elderly mother stays with us!!
