When remodeling my master bathroom, I hired My Shower Door in Orlando, FL to complete the glass project for my shower. The contract was signed on 2/24/2020, and the initial work completed a few months after. The shower door had to be adjusted after installation and there were several appointments that came after the installation when I started seeing my shower curb showing signs of early deterioration. I should have kept track of the number of times their installers came to attempt to repair the problem and seal the grout joints and surrounding area where the problem existed because it was a lot of back and forth. After several appointments with my contractor, plumber and installers from My Shower Door, it was determined that My Shower Door had caused water damage to the curb by the way they screwed into the curb, and did not seal properly causing damage to the entire shower curb which needed to be torn out and rebuilt. Corey L., one of the owners of My Shower Door, had visited my home in June 14, 2021 after dealing with this issue for over a year and also NOT being able to use my new shower due to these issues. At this meeting, he gave his verbal word to me, my plumber and contractor that My Shower Door would pay for the repair of the shower curb at the expense of $650.00. I paid for the services to the tile repair ($650) on my own, and expected for My Shower Door and Corey L. to reimburse me for the expense and repair. I attempted to collect this $650 from Corey L. by calling him and leaving several messages. He never called me back even after I left a message for him telling him that I was going to report him to the Better Business Bureau if I didn't receive reimbursement.Business response
