Recently purchased a Used Vehicle from this dealership. We had it transported out of state. When we reviewed the vehicle with the salesman-*******************, he disclosed that there is an issue with the automatic tailgate, he disclosed that his service department diagnosed as a programming issue, and he would have them reprogram before the car was transported. Along with this the car would finished being detailed and cleaned. The vehicle was loaded and shipped with no further work done, I had the car evaluated by another ****** dealer and there is $1250 of work to get the tailgate functional. The car wasn't detailed. When the car arrived no one at the receiving dealership was notified by ***************** that it was coming.I've attempted to contact the ***************** dealership, they won't answer voicemails, they wont return emails, they won't deal with the problem. ** the salesman states he never said he would have his service department repair it. My wife witnessed the conversation. Finally I had a conversation with **** the sales manager. He stated that It's not his problem it's mine, I should have had it written down and hung up. I've also called the finance department to get the electronic copies of my transaction. They don't answer their phone, emails or requests. I asked for the general manager; ***** several times, I was told he doesn't deal with customer issues!! I'm looking to have the tailgate functional as ** the salesman stated he would do.

On April 14,2021 I purchased a used 2001 Volkswagen Golf from Morgan Auto Sales. I paid $4000 cash, I was told by the owner that the vehicle had never been in an accident, and I had purchased a CARFAX report that also stated this so I did believe him. After a short test drive I was told that he had other people interested and I had to make my decision immediately. On the test drive I did notice a warning light on the dashboard and asked about it. I was told it was a seat belt sensor, and that it was lit indicating the seat belt was in use. I bought the car. I had to wait 3 weeks to get an appointment with a Volkswagen mechanic. I was told that the vehicle had in fact been in an accident that was not reported, and the dashboard light in question was an indicator that the air bags had been triggered. I spent another thousand dollars trying to get the car repaired to no avail. The dealer refused to negotiate a resolution and now I cannot even legally sell the car.

      11/10/2021

As of today (11/10/2021) I have not been contacted by this business since my complaint was filed. As I previously stated, I invested another thousand dollars after the sale for to try to resolve the problem and also put new tires on the car. When my mechanic told me that it would cost thousands more to replace the airbags I called the dealer and offered to sell the car back to him for $3000,at a loss to me of over $2000. He laughed and hung up on me.That was in May, 2021 and I have not heard from them since. I have been afraid to drive the car since then.
