I would never recommend this company. I put a deposit for a new Bay Window back in July. I was told that the window would probably take months to get but I was OK with that. Hurricane Ian hit the end of September. Shortly after the hurricane the owner called me to tell me that his installer wasn't comfortable putting in the window. Let's face it; They had a bigger job and decided not to do mine. The owner also told be that for my inconvenience he would send me additional money over my original deposit. That never happened!!!!!!!! This company is only interested in their bottom line.

Wow, you cannot be anymore wrong. I was not doing the job because it did not fit into what we specialize in and did not want to make any mistakes on your home. If the bottom line was all I cared about I would off just done the job and not cared about making mistakes. And YES, I told you I was sending you $100 as compensation (in addition to refunding your deposit) for any troubles we may have caused you. That check was mailed on 11-1-2022 and was check #****. What company EVER would do this? NONE, only me! Very ungrateful! Now I am putting a stop on the check I sent you.  

Bought high impact sliders, waiting many months for them. Install was ok, but they didn't clean them, now I know why. After code came out and inspected, rep came on same day to ask if I was happy. I said so far ok, but doors need to be cleaned. So I do this and find scratches, spots, and scuffs on frames. I call immediately and tech came out, acknowledged damage and said they would replace 3 of 4 panels. But nooo! Now the day a warranty company has to verify, apparently not trusting Affordable any more than I do . They sent tech who downplayed damage and had the audacity to tell me that if you can't REALLY see it from 10 feet, it's acceptable!!! SERIOUSLY?!? I wouldn't buy a new car with scratches down the hood, why on earth would ANYONE buy doors or windows that are without damage!! And now many many weeks and countless unanswered calls, Chris, the head ***** there just blamed me for damage and they are doing NOTHING!! TOOK MY MONEY AND RAN!! STAY AWAY!! 43 year resident, home owner, lifelong business owner with an impeccable reputation here, I am beyond ******!! Now I know why they asked for a check, didn't want credit card I could dispute. I wish I could get a lie detector, I could pass it but nobody there could! Don't say nobody warned you!!

First and foremost, the products are cleaned (ALWAYS) thoroughly by installers after the job before they leave. The scratches she talks about were not present after installation and cleaning. The scratches were not present when the building inspector came to the house and the scratches were not present when my service tech went out to do the final punch out. These scratches appeared only after ***** removed the stickers from the glass (stickers that must stay on for building inspector to see). When ***** called about the scratches my service tech went to view the issue and at that point ***** showed my tech a rusty old razor blade that was used to remove the stickers. This was not our doing!!!! And if ***** wanted us to remove the stickers all she had to do was ask. She didn't and damaged her products. We tried to get it covered under warranty from manufacturer but after a visit from manufacturer they determined the same thing that the scratches were caused by someone. NOT US.

I have been in business for over 25 years and have a great reputation and win the Angie's List Super Service Award EVERY YEAR. It's because we do great work and always do right by our customers.

This was not our fault and I've tried to do everything I can to help.

This is nothing but lies. I never showed a tech or used a rusty old razor blade on my new doors. Their tech did see the scratches and told me they were going to have to replace 3 of 4 panels. The doors were not cleaned by installers. The inspector never even looked at glass, he looked at how the frames were installed. I gain absolutely nothing by ruining my new doors I waited for many months for. I am also a glass artist and know how to cut, drill, cook, form, sand, and CLEAN glass!! And by the way, many of the marks/spots are IN the glass. Their tech said that was a manufacturer issue. These people are dirtbag liars. Many people have seen the doors and can't believe they are still in business, nor can I. Cockroaches, need a giant can of Raid!!! Stay away!!

The window sales man was knowledgeable but gave an estimated install time frame that took 5 months longer than estimated. On the install day the Palusa crew was clean and professional and did great work getting windows out/in. I expected some minor scuffing of paint but what was not disclosed was that there would be repaired stucco that would not be painted. I now have to have multiple spots inside the house to touch up and large areas around the windows exterior to paint.

If knowing what I know now and giving advice to those going forward, I would get in writing to have all paints repaired in the window contract.

I reached out to you to discuss this, but you decided rather than talking to me to write an unfair and un-truthful review.

First concerning the lead time given by the sales rep. The lead times you were given at the time you signed the contracts were accurate at that time. Unfortunately, our suppliers were having issues with their supply chains and continually delayed orders that were shipped to us. You were not alone nor were we the only company or the only industry this was impacted by the WORLDWIDE supply chain issues. Contrary to your belief, this was not an Affordable Window System issue as we tried to explain to you over and over again and we did the very best within our control to install your windows as soon as we could.

In regard to the touch up paint, the policy is on the contract you reviewed and signed and is very clear. It states that there may be some minor damage to stucco or drywall when removing old windows and we will repair any and all damage if it occurs but the touch up painting is the responsibility on the homeowner. Again, this was on the contracts that you reviewed and signed. Also, it is my understanding that my installation guys actually tried to assist you and went against company policy and actually did some painting for you.

So, once again, your statements are inaccurate and would appreciate it if you would remove them from here.
