    We went to AAMCO to see if we could get our transmission fixed. The store Manager assured us that he could and it would be perfect when we picked it back up. He gave us this song and dance that a used transmission verse a new transmission would be a $600. differences, so go with a new Transmission opposed to an used,$5000 we paid.(Remember this Part about the whole transmission would be new.)The transmission shop took 1 month to get it fixed and back to us. He told us to drive it 500 miles and bring it back to look it over again. I drove it the day we picked it up and it was making the same knocking noise it did before the transmission went out before .I told my wife that it feels like he didn't even fix it.So, I called him the same day and he reassured us that we needed to drive it 500 miles and we did and it was still knocking. We took it back at 500 miles and he said that they would have to reprogram the computer and leave it with him that was a Wednesday. He said he would contact us the next day and he never called. So, we called and spoke to him on Friday and mentioned to him that we needed our vehicle for a trip for the weekend, will it be ready. Now this was a Friday afternoon and we never got our vehicle back until the following Tuesday. Again drive it 500 miles and see how it does. We drove it **** miles and returned it with the same issue. Now they have the vehicle the 3rd time and they said that they had a Technician coming into program the computer, we dropped it off on a Tuesday and did not receive no call backs, so I called and they played dumb, what is your vehicle am I sure that I dropped it off there.Then put me on hold and said that they found it, we didn't get it back this time Again Another week. Picked it up on a Wednesday. Drive it again 500 miles and my wife did that in 2 days. This time we took it back and she went in and chewed ****'s ear.Now this is Wednesday August 30th 2023 A few day's went by and I called and Alto the desk jockey answered and said **** is no longer there and he gave me a run down on my vehicle and he even said that they had to replace the valve body again under warranty and they didn't rebuild the whole transmission, just the valve body.So now it's been close to 2 weeks and we never got a response and we called ********** on Friday September 8th .We spoke to the new desk person ****, guessing Alto and **** are no longer there. **** put us on hold and spoke to the Mechanic ***** and she related the message that they are test driving the car, and if it's okay they would release it to us on Friday, that was 8:30 a.m. she said that they would get back to us in 2 hours, never called. Now currently September 11th, I called again. They put me on hold for 10 minutes, then ***** the Mechanic picked up and said the same thing they said Friday and, I asked him to contact the owner of their store and have him contact me. He argued that he wasn't going to do that. I am guessing that he may be in charge now.So I made my own calls. Our court house told me to file a claim with the ********** of *********** and file with the Better Business and if it's not resolved in a timely manner then come back to file a claim with the small claims department. And all I wanted was to have AAMCO offer to get us a Rental car to get our son back and forth to school and wife to work. And to get our car back to us Right.So **** said that they didn't provide Rentals, and I said that it is because of your poor craftsmanship that I had the car back 3 times since their failure to fix the vehicle after having it a month before giving it back to us.I have not received my vehicle back and who's to say it will be right when I pick it up this time. Also at the beginning of my message, I mentioned that **** said that the whole transmission would be NEW.And to have Alto, and today ***** to tell me that all that was replaced was my solenoid block/ valve block was only replaced. My background is Steam Turbine Mechanic for ************* and light. And I use to rip out transmissions for on the job training 3 years in high school and 2 years online Mechanic. TOTAL 37 YEARS So to tell me that a $700.00 part amounts to 5000.I believe that there is shady business going on. And I will continue to rattle the chains until I get the owner to respond with answers. 2 months jerking me around and when I called today and asked about our car and why it's just sitting by the fence and not being addressed..*****'s reply was that they have 30 car's that they are working on. Nice business they got my money, not concerned with my car because they are doing the same to other customers. I spoke with a woman in the parking lot she is dealing with the same issue. Paid and service was not satisfactory. It's sad that someone has to take go through what I have gone through. Thank you, to who may handle this claim. **************************
