Dropped my car off for a cleaning. Wife & I then left in her car for errands in Destin. A few hours later before they closed, we returned to the car wash business to pick my car back up. It was snuggled parallel to the property line concealing the passenger side. It looked so amazing that we emptied out my wife's car of groceries into my car. We left her car for the same hoped for results. Unaware of unreported body damage on the concealed side of my car. We took my car home to drop the groceries off into the fridge and freezer. We then returned to the car wash place. We retrieved her car and once again returned home for more errands to do. It was then... when I actually got a real eye opener on my right rear quarter panel area! It was buckled, concaved and scrapped! WTH?! The business was already closed by then. But I found an employee cleaning up after hours. Naturally he denied knowing anything and told me to come back Saturday to talk with the boss. As I drove off, he was furiously texting away to someone. I came back the next day. Everyone avoided me. Finally the manager/owner asked me if I needed help with anything. I said I think you know why I am here. He denied it but everyone either eyed me down or moved elsewhere. As I explained what I found on my car, one employee stood off taking my picture with him. The whole episode was like a horribly choreographed B movie lol! The owner-manager walked me through his car wash system denying anything could have happened there and deflected attention from them to back on me. As though I may have the damage from elsewhere and another time. It went no where. He suggested I contact my insurance company and even look up a buddy of his that does bodywork. Lol! For crying out loud might be better! I suggest that everyone not be fooled by seemingly genuine people who have your interests at heart. I suggest my incident was probably never the first and won't be the last there. He did admit they get accused of things all the time including missing firearms. But like he said, he's not going to tell people what to do. Doesn't want to sound like an a**hole. Not interested in firing people since they're hard to find and then train them. He said still don't know how they'll turn out later. This owner/mgr was blowing smoke the whole time I was there. Very friendly but dishonest. Will never return there ever again. Anyone else I care about... I will warn them too.
