I went for leg pain. Didn't get to see doctor. Leg pain not resolved. Asked if wanted health care maintenance. Said yes. 20+ questions. They knew I was self pay with no insurance. Didn't inform me those 20+ questions would cost me over $200. My one time visit cost me $441.Business response

We have completed our investigation as to the complaint and will be refunding the patient $294.00 for the "20+ question" visit, as well as providing her with a 30% "cash pay" discount of $44.10, total refund being $338.10.
However, the patient initially came to the Clinic to establish as a new patient and was provided with medical care and is responsible for the initial office visit.
Our Business Office and Quality Management Department will contact the patient and advise her that the refund will be credited to her credit card.

My daughter used to see the pediatrician dept at White Wilson. They will no longer see us due to an overdue bill. My daughter was scheduled for her 2yr old checkup in July 2021 three weeks in advance. The office receptionist called at 7am the morning of her appt. Our appt was at 8:30, the receptionist called to advise that I had a late bill of $800 or so and that my daughter would not be seen until the bill was paid. I told her that was impossible as our insurance pays 100% for her visits and well check appts. She said there was nothing she could do except have the supervisor call. I called back later around noon to speak with the supervisor. She informed me that the bill was from the previous year and because their system changed and it was never realized until then, a whole year later. I had looked into it myself and realized they billed the wrong insurance company. I asked them to bill the correct insurance company but was told they only have a few months to send the bill to the insurance company and a year later is beyond the timeframe they can bill the insurance company. So because they changed their computer software systems, the wrong insurance company was billed. Their software billed the previous insurance company instead of the current insurance. I now have an $800 or so overdue balance. I believe this problem was caused in White Wilson's error and they should correct it. My insurance would have paid the full bill.Business response
