Chris **** of Waterside Landscape was hired to trim trees and install artificial turf over the entirety of our backyard, as well as an aluminum fence with gate along the back side in October. We were told the turf would be finished by the end of December. It's nearly July and the job still isn't finished. It took Chris until end of February to lay the turf. In his wake he left all of the edges unfinished, gaps between the turf and the house, left over gravel in the front yard (damaging our lawn, which he promised to remove/replace the sod if damaged), an open hole where an old garden hose stand was removed (which he promised to cap), gapping in between two pieces of turf where the line of sand is visible, a visibly crooked gate, and failed to bring enough rocks to cover around the sprinkler system. Most, if not all, of the edges are not tacked down and can be easily lifted. There were long weeks/months we did not hear from Chris at all, let alone make any progress. There were many excuses as to why he wouldn't come. Often he'd give a date when something was to be completed but not show up for days or weeks. Some delays are understandable but this has taken far too long. Chris promised a 1 year warranty on the installation, which is moot considering he won't even communicate anymore. His last text was in early May, in which I asked him to come finish everything within 2 weeks. Haven't heard from him since. Additionally, we payed Chris $200 last fall to treat the front lawn in the spring, to help it grow healthy and green. He never provided this service either. Unfortunately, Chris was already paid $24,749.56 for the backyard plus the $200 for the front lawn. It's extremely frustrating to have paid full price for partial services rendered. I have texted Chris many times asking him to finish the job but there is always some excuse, and now radio silence.
