I am seeing a past due balance on my credit report from Infinite Energy. Gas South acquired Infinite Energy and I now have an active account with Gas South. I have contacted Gas South about this past due balance and they are not showing that I owe a balance but have yet to figure out how to resolve this issue. I want this off my credit report. If I owe it I will pay but don’t even know how. Gas South has been very unhelpful.Business response

Good afternoon,
Regarding *** ******** complaint, Infinite Energy was able to research the issue and remove the balance owed from an outside collections agency; the matter will no longer reflect on the customer's credit report. Ms. Hefner was made aware of the results of the research and the action taken by Infinite Energy. Infinite Energy would like to consider this matter resolved. Thanks.

I have been trying since May of this year to get the balance from what was deduced from my security deposit for my last billing amount back from the company. They have now transitioned over to Gas South. I have contacted the company over 3 times and they keep stating that the check is going to be resent to my new billing address of **** ******** **** *********** ***** within 4 weeks. I have yet to still receive the check and now since the transitioning to Gas South it seems difficult to get a contact who previously worked for Infinite Energy to come up with a resolution on how to get me the money back. I am now at a lost because I am not sure what I am in need of doing at this moment.Business response

Concerning *** ******** complaint, Infinite Energy had researched the customer's concern and expedited a refund check which the customer has since received. Infinite Energy would like to considered this matter closed. Please let me know if you have any questions or concerns.
