    According to information in BBB files, Molly and Friends Cat Furniture Company has a pattern of complaint alleging Delivery and Refund issues. 

    Specifically, consumers state they place an order for a cat tree for several hundreds of dollars but never receive the item. Consumers also Allege they reach out to Molly and Friends Cat Furniture Company for a refund or delivery updates, but communication has been at a halt for months.

    On May 15th, 2024, BBB contacted Molly and Friends Cat Furniture Company to request their voluntary cooperation in resolving the unanswered complaints as well as their cooperation in eliminating the pattern of complaint; however, Molly and Friends Cat Furniture Company failed to respond.       To whom it may concern,On January 25th of 2024 my Wife and I ordered 2 Kitty **** from Molly and Friends after having been successful at ordering from them in the past. On January 26th, 2024 we sent Molly and Friends a Check for $328.95 to pay for our order, which was promptly cashed by them.Since that date there have been numerous emails and Phone Calls made to Molly and Friends in an attempt to find out what the status was on our order. At one point in time (May 26th, 2024) *** (of Molly and Friends) wrote to us and acknowledged both our Emails and VoiceMail Messages whereby *** indicated "... your units are on a smaller MOST URGENT RIGHT NOW Customer list" whereby we had some hope we might see what we ordered soon.We have both called and written to *** since then to no avail. On September 1st we wrote to *** putting Molly and Friends on notice that we would be writing to as many agencies as we could to expose this Fraudulent Activity and to file a formal complaint against his Company for neither supplying us with our order or by issuing us a Refund Check.Please let me know what else we should do in an effort to get our money back. We would be more than willing to supply you with all of the many emails we have sent to *********************************************** which would support what I just conveyed.Your immediate attention on this matter would be greatly appreciated.Regards,***** & *** ****

      I ordered a custom cat tree from Molly and Friends (A Jungle Gym in Beige with extra sisal) on January 6, 2024. I paid with Venmo - ***************** sent me a request and I paid in full. I was told it would be shipped in 5-6 weeks. I still have not received the tree and have called several times. I have texted and emailed as well. *** has returned 2 of my calls and one text. Each time he gives me a long convoluted story about his business troubles and assures me it will be shipped. I have been trying to reach him for the last 2 months with no response after he assured me he would be providing a shipping date in May. I have requested a full refund over voice mail and texts, but again, no response.

      On 4/16/24 we contacted ***************** and ordered two pieces of cat furniture. After speaking with him, we sent him a check for $773 which he deposited on 4/22/24 in Radiant CU. He promised a 3-5 week delivery.After repeated emails and phone calls, *** responded by email promising a third week of June delivery.Since then, we have followed up on 6/6/24 and 6/10/24 by email inquiring if *** was still committed to a 6/21/24 shipping date and , if not, we requested a full refund of our $773.*** has not responded to these emails.We would very much appreciate your help in recovering our $773.

      On March 9, I contacted *** at Molly and Friends and asked for a Cozy Cot. I sent the color Id like through email the next day, and he responded that he could make it. On March 16th, I called him, and through that conversation, he gave me a total price, explained they were a little behind, but he should be able to bring it to my home as he passed by my area when made deliveries to businesses. The next day, I mailed a check and verified he received it through an email, which he responded on March 23. He also stated that he would have it to me within two weeks. After not hearing anything, I called him on April 16, left a message, and on the 19th he called me back and said he was going to be in my area and would drop it off that weekend, but then he called me that day (on April 21) and said something came up and he couldnt bring it. I called again on May 7 and followed up with an email asking for a refund, both correspondences remained unanswered.

      I ordered a cat tree From Molly and Friends 09/19/2023. This order was placed by phone because there no other option to do so. In the phone conversation with the business owner I was told the amount for the tree would be $602 dollars to be paid by personal check only. The check was cashed on 0925/23. I was also told the cat tree would be delivered by mid October 2023.As of 05/15/24 we have not received the cat tree. I have made numerous phone calls and they all went to voice mail asking me to leave a message. I have also sent numerous text messages and the owner has not responded to any of my attempts to contact him.

      I purchased a SkyScraper cat perch back on 11/12/2023. I was told I would have this product in 4 to 6 weeks. I have communicated through email and on the telephone with *** who has done nothing but make unkept promises to me about making and sending me this cat perch that I wrote check for $714.00 on 11/12/2023. I have tried numerous times to contact him through email and have left unanswered messages on his voicemail. I would like this product that I ordered and paid for in full and in good faith. I am so tired of the sob stories and continuous lies by ***. I have emails if needed and documented phone calls to *** if needed.

      ***'s twin brother quit months ago. *** made promises on the phone every few months, but now won't answer my messages. I am attempting to handle this now and all the other goings on like building mostly and I am seriously tardy on communications and am jumping in to it, connecting to one at a time and doing my and our best to accomplish our back orders. Skyscraper is not in the front line of orders we are finishing and I expect it will be two long quick months before we're in a position to (send it). we are simply behind .. schedule .. we thought we could (do) in October.       I bought cat furniture from Molly and Friends Cat Furniture. I ordered by phone as you can't order online. I was told by *** that they wouldn't accept credit cards so I mailed him a check for $283.00. The check for $283.00 was cashed on January ************************************* Molly and Friends again. I have called, written, emailed several times to no avail. nobody answers the phone and nobody ever responds to emails or letters. I would greatly appreciate getting my money back. I am a senior citizen and can't afford such a loss. I am also deeply saddened and embarrassed to have been scammed by this *************. I would either like delivery of the product I bought or a full refund.

      In January of 2023 I placed an order for three custom cat trees/condos with Molly and Friends via a telephone conversation The business confirmed my order with an email and charged my credit card $832.46 as a deposit on the order. I paid this deposit with my February 2023 credit card payment. They said the order would ship in 12 to ****************************************************** May of 2023. They did say there was a delay and I would receive the order in June of 2023.To date, 2/14/24, I have not received any merchandise from this company. I have emailed and called numerous times. They stopped responding months ago. I have requested a refund but have not received that either.Apparently I am not the only unhappy customer judging by the number of complaints on the BBB website. I wish I had checked there before sending my deposit but in the past this had been a reliable company . I am so disappointed they have failed to even give customers the curtesy of a reply. I am requesting a refund. This company has lost all credibility.
