The average cost for entire face Botox in the state of Florida is $515-$625, according to https://aedit.com/procedure/botox/cost, which states the following: "How much is it to Botox my whole face? "Average Cost of Botox Treatments by State State Average Cost California $350-$580 Colorado $230-$555 Connecticut $245-$1,060 Delaware $245-$1,060 Florida $515-$625 Georgia $515-$625 etc., etc. (state by state) When I saw the Botox specialist in September 2021 at Dr. ******** office I assumed I would probably spend about $1,000 for "the works." To my surprise, the bill was more than $2,000 for about 15 minutes of her time. She offered a free follow up but told me to wait AT LEAST TWO WEEKS for the results to settle in. Five weeks out, I saw her, and showed her that there was little result for my hard-earned $2,000 (TWO THOUSAND DOLLARS) that I paid her. My forehead, covered in wrinkles looks extra strange, as she pulled up the outer tips of the eyebrows in such a way to cause increased wrinkles on my temples. The Botox specialist had her manager also accompany me into the office so that the two of them could team up and tell me how "great" my $2,000 result looked, even though I am a mature adult and can look in the mirror and clearly see no positive result. If you've ever been to a beauty salon that butchered your hair, you'll recall that they use that same obnoxious verbal technique to downplay a bad result. "Oh! You look great! Your orange hair looks wonderful!" I was then told that it was "too late" to get any free follow up because (get this) the $2,000 of Botox was already wearing off! The Botox specialist did not wish to provide her last time when I said I was going to lodge a complaint. In an online article titled "5 signs that your Botox is botched," it states in significant part ~4. You have a 'spock' brow This this is the term given to eyebrows which upturn sharply and unnaturally, which is usually a result of the wrong muscle being injected. Sometimes further injections can be used to reverse the effects, otherwise you will have to wait three to four months for them to wear off. Good Botox makes you look like a better version of you, not an extra from Star Trek.("Star Trek" is exactly how Dr. ******** Botox specialist made my forehead look.) 5. You can't see any difference Injecting into the wrong muscle, bypassing the muscle altogether or injecting into the wrong muscle can result in your Botox having absolutely no effect whatsoever. Rather than admitting that the Botox was administered wrongly or not enough, the office manager and Botox specialist wanted to engage in a long debate with me and attempt to erase any verbal comment that I made, as though any opinion that I stated was completely false and only "they" know best. Gaslighting me did settle well with me. It's $2,000 later, with no result except for a Star Trek brow, and I was not there to get their teamed- up verbal arrogance and negating anything I said. I certainly deserve a full refund. Having had Botox administered in other spas and having a good result, this is the first time I have ever waged a Botox provider complaint.
