      I used this company to take care of our mold. Mel was the one in charge, he is a really nice guy but unfortunately the job was very sloppy. The are where the mold was extracted wasn't properly secured, neither were the vents, the equipment were dirty, and the studs still contained mold. All this was on the inspection, therefore the inspection failed. Instead of ordering a new inspection, they got paid through my insurance and never followed up. We ended up having to call him and say that the inspection was never cleared and new mold was found, instead of finishing the job free of cost they decided to charge 4,000 to do finish the job. We decided to go with someone else that charged $800 for a much more professional job, including fumigating the vents. Inspection cleared and we were able to continue our remodeling. This company is overpriced, and they were trying to charge us to get another inspection when I was told it was their job to finish the job they were hired to do with a cleared inspection. Very disappointed, please don't use.

      While I do understand the frustration of this situation, there are key details that were omitted that paint a clearer picture of the events. The inspection did fail. That is 100% accurate. We are not perfect and at times things can be overlooked. We went back and addressed every issue that was brought up by the hygienist company. Now here is where details were left out. We did contact the company for a reinspection, and just as the company reached out to the homeowner before to set the date and confirm, we were under the impression that the same interaction would take place. We had no knowledge that the PRV was never rescheduled because just as previously stated, the time was to be coordinated directly with the homeowner. There is photographic proof of how the job was left. Clean. Another key detail, probably the most important is that the contractor hired by the homeowner opened walls and exposed mold that was not accessible during the remediation process. Also they removed the containment and left the whole home exposed. When the reinspection did happen it was after the contractor opened the walls for a full bathroom remodel, not areas that were taken care of during the remediation. The initial job was taken care off and the failure did happen and was addressed. It was never mentioned that we inspected the roof and tried to pinpoint the initial cause of the damage. Also that we worked cautiously to make sure we did not exceed any policy limits to make sure they would be able to put the home together within the limits of the payout. We did whatever we could to try to help without charging so it was never a get paid and leave as soon as possible situation. We never charge for inspections, that is 100% false We also tried to negotiate a fair payment for the new work that needed to be done. We are not responsible for another parties lack of care, we offered to take care of all the issues at a reasonable cost based on all that we would do. I'm glad that a more cost effective price was found, but putting the company down for finding a cheaper price and telling half truths is not a great way to convey frustrations.
