Owner John **** has had my vehicle since October 2023 he stated that I would need a headgasket and water pumps thermostat oil etc. I receive a call on March 28 stating that Derek finally finished and I can come by and pick it up I paid 3k ....thousand dollars with the swipe of my card I got my keys and made it 2 miles away from **** road performance Llc and it was smoking ran hot and stop in the middle of the highway with traffic coming I called **** Road performance Llc and the representative Leelee ask me to try to get it towed back to the shop. I did pay the towing fee for that to then when I arrived back to the shop **** Road Performance LLC AND Mechic Derek to me he informed the owner that I needed a motor back in October he instructed Derek to patch up my motor with sealant and other deceitful slouvants Derek told me he knew it was going to happen...I asked for my money back the owner John **** stated that if I go find a motor they will put it in for free I don't have other 3 or 4 thousand dollars for motor I want my money back he still has my car I got nothing else to give I'm a vet and John **** also stated that I'll probably have to take him to small claims court I'm not the only victimBusiness response

To whom it may concern:
This is the first correspondence we have received regarding this matter.
Below is our response to the comical claim.
Ms. ***** brought her vehicle in to be diagnosed after having work done from another mechanic shop. Upon diagnosing the vehicle, it was found that there was water in the oil that was due to a cracked head. Our employee called and let Ms. ***** know the issues and gave her the price of replacing all the parts. Ms. ***** gave permission to fix everything and call her when it was done. We replaced the head, gaskets, water pump and replaced the oil. We have receipts from all parts purchased and replaced that go with the VIN to her vehicle. Once everything was replaced, Ms. ***** was informed that her car was ready for pick up. Ms. ***** paid for the services that were provided and she picked up the vehicle.
Days later, we received a call from Ms. ***** and she informed our employee that she drove the vehicle to and from Jacksonville (a 4 hour drive one way) and that it was running hot and wanted us to take a look at it. She had the vehicle towed in by someone else to our shop. Upon looking the vehicle over, it was found that she had ran the car out of oil and locked the motor up. This is a completely separate issue from what we had worked on and she had paid for, nothing we are responsible for.
Ms. ***** can come any day and time that we are open to pick up her vehicle, if she wishes to take it elsewhere.

Ms. ***** is apparently confused about the work that was done and she paid for on the vehicle. We have proof of the work that was provided. Ms. ***** is also harassing the owner, shop and neighboring businesses trying to bad mouth the establishment. She is now in possession of the vehicle. Unfortunately, there is nothing more we can do for Ms. *****. I hope this will end the unnecessary back and forth communication.Customer response

Ebony *****The day of payment and the day my avenger dodge started was the same day I went a mile down the road and called Leelee and I spoke with Derek about it breaking down he stated that they didn't have any means of towing my vehicle and try to get it back to the shop and that's actually what I did jonh I never had a chance to get to jacksonville fl on my birthday because you had possession of my vehicle....jonh I'll will see you in court your lying from the pits of HELL . AGAIN your lack luster attitude and just not caring how you run your business speaks volumes. BBB I've started a petition list of former customers with strife about the services of their vehicles. Again thank you for looking at this case again I'm a veteran and just expected that things would be better HOME.
