I would give no stars if possible. I paid for a monthly membership and was told that the number I was given could not be used at the facility. I called the number for inmateaid and its not in service and I emailed several times and got no response. I want a refund and cant find a way to successfully contact them at all

This customer used two different email addresses to communicate with us. Claiming we didnt respond is false. The line was used twice, claiming it doesnt work is also false. BUT, since we can't get zero stars for the effort, we are happy to offer a partial refund and apologize for not meeting your standards.

I have made numerous attempts to have a profile removed due to umnachtete Information. All of my requests have gone unanswered.

He contacted us ONE TIME on Saturday, January 14, 2023, the listing was deleted that same day. You are the first and only person to let us know you were released! Congratulations

The ****** search ******** shows, "Record not found" on our website. It will take 2-3 weeks before it disappears from ******.

 

 

Whoever made this is genius. I know I paid $29.95 for absolutely nothing. I never needed this service from get go but ofcourse my loved one was incarcerated and I was looking to save from those high phone calls. The money the prison charges for those ridiculously high priced calls and commissary should find all those inmates a lawyer. Im sure if you stay there a week the lawyer would be half way paid off if not completely.

I have emailed this website 3 times over the last few months to remove my name from their site. No action. I am not an inmate. This is false info and damaging to my reputation as a business owner. If there is no resolution this week I will have to take legal action.

We received a direct message from this email address through the BBB portal. We removed the old inmate profile and informed him via email YESTERDAY. There are NO PREVIOUS emails from this email address. 

 

 

These people are total crooks and should be put BACK in prison for fleecing loved ones of prisoners.I purchased about $50 worth of letters, postcards, photos. 2 of 10 were sent, with 2 out of maybe 15 pictures sent,?I've emailed them countless times. I'm convinced that it's one guy who runs the whole thing, he is definitely a prior inmate, and knew that this would be an easy way to get money off of loved ones of inmates. He/she/they should be ashamed of themselves.

The customer purchased $15 for a package of 25 photos and $32 for a package of Letters and postcards.  After she "attempted to send unacceptable pictures of her herself that the prison rejected", we offered to resend additional non-nudity photos at no charge. We make it ******* clear that any racy pictures will be at the mercy of the federal prison mailroom staff. She sent them anyway. They got sent back or destroyed. 

InmateAid is getting a ONE-STAR review because the *************** rejected the these pictures of her, not becasue anyone was scammed. All of the mail was printed and mailed by a third-party service, a service that isn't free. We had ONE email exhange with this customer on July 31 (not the fabrication in the complaint), where we offered to re-mail new photos but that idea was not accepted. We refunded the first transaction of $15 as a gesture of good will. She can attempt to send these pictures herself and see where that leads.

I am currently being advertised as an inmate at porter co Indiana jail with my information. Phone numbers listed are no good. I am recieving a lot of concerned phine call about this false information.

The inmate profile has been deleted. We notice that there are several websites also posting this information that was culled from various databases. The public sources dont always post the release dates so we get inquiries for removal all the time. 

For anyone having an old inmate profile still posted, please email us at ****************************** and we'll be happy to delete it.

I ordered a magazine subscription April 27, 2022 for my loved one. Not one issue has been received nor have any of my numerous emails or requests through the website contact us form for a refund or reason why subscription has been answered. The publisher has told me they can't get find my order but the money was taken out of my bank account. I would like the subscription to start or a full refund.

We had previously responded to the customer's email about this subscription, "We are unsure what the delay is/was but we have refunded you the amount paid, and we apologize for any aggravation associated with the purchase. It may take a few days for the funds to be returned to your account. Here is a screenshot from the credit card processor."

InmateAid has worked directly with the publisher's agents for over ten years. There are challenges from time to time in delivering some titles to prisons and jails. When an issue does arise we take care of it immediately, as was this case.

This company is a scam and takes advantage the elderly. My granddaughter was in jail 3 1/2 years ago. I added $20 one time and it turned into recurring payments. She has not been in jail for 3 years and they have charged me ***** a month every month since. I did NOT set up recurring payments and they will NOT refund my money either.

Our records reflect an email address different than the one in the complaint. We do not have a $27 recurring fee, a $19.95 charge is our normal monthly rate for talking with an inmate. We have received only received one email from this customer (on Oct 3, 2022) to cancel the service. It was previously never canceled which caused the Company to pay the utility for the active number each and every month it is a live number. The Service Agreement clearly states the customer is responsible to let us know when the inmate is released to cancel the service, we are not clairvoyent, but in the spirit of good will, we have refunded the last two payments.
