      This company shouldn't be allowed to operate or serve the public at all. I'm a retired combat Veteran and a broker set me up with them and then within less than 24 hours after someone pointing their reviews out to me, I emailed the broker/coordinator assigned to me that I wanted a refund of my deposit of ******* and he purposely didn't respond for 24 hours because the Bridgeview said I only had 24 hours to obtain a refund and never did anyone provide me the portal to complete their refund and after numerous calls, they think they can keep it without even moving me. This company should be put out of business for fraud. Do not do business with them. I'd like to get others like myself together and *** them.Date of experience: December 05,

      Contracted with Bridgeview to move my mother's boxes and other furniture on Feb 5, 2024 they contracted with another 3rd party mover Great American Van ********************** to move her things to ********** from ******* **. It is now March 11, 2024 and I still have not heard back from the moving company they were supposed to deliver Tuesday March 12. NO response and Bridgeview never returns call even the Manager **** to followup with the carrier they selected to move my mother's furniture. My mother is 80 years old and is now 4 weeks without her items going on 5 weeks in a new apartment. This is outrageous and unacceptable and want to file a complaint.

      A itemized complaint with pictures of damaged items were sent multiple times to Bridgeview and Blue lion moving.

      they have ignored the complaint, and it is our intent to file suit in the appropriate court in Palm Beach County, **.

      I recently had the unfortunate experience of hiring Bridgeview Van Lines LLC for my move, and it turned out to be an absolute nightmare. I cannot stress enough how disappointed and frustrated I am with their services. I had a 1 bedroom, total was 13 items. They came up with $1,534.00.($510.00 deposit, $510.00 at pickup, and the balance $514.00 due at delivered). Before picking up my belongings, they scheduled to do ***************** with ***************. During the call, he walked me through to measure all the items to make sure all good. I decided to take off three items from the list : 1 canvas paint, PC desktop and the sofa (2 love seats). Brought down to 10 items, but the cost was still the same. The day they sent the mover to pick up my belongings, it was 2 young guys who claimed that his father business, "Mirit ******************." One guy do the labeling, as I helped the other guy loaded my belongings to their truck. After we finished, a guy said i went over 700fc. and I have to pay additional $2,807.00. I declined to pay. A guy actually said if I don't let the company know, he will give me discount. Instead of $2,807.00, he told me to Zelle him $1,200.00 (included $514.00 due at delivered) and he said it will be delivered on February 12th. I called Bridgeview about being ripped off/scammed, they said they couldn't do anything about it. Now, its February 19th, my belongings has not been delivered. I called Bridgeview and they told me to call the carrier. Why do I have to call? I booked through your company not them. Make so sense!!!

      After we spoke to you regarding the additional charged on Bill of ***** there was a small discrepancy of a couple hundred dollars. As shown in our records the carrier did take it off of the delivery balance. If that did not occur please give our customer service department a call and we can follow up on the status of the refund.

      This moving company was contracted to move items from ******** to ****************. Due to the delay in pick up the bill of lading was not signe. Items were picked up on 8/24. Delivery was not accomplished until 11/22. I have multiple emails/calls from 10/02 requesting immediate delivery. Upon delivery, although the outward appearance was the same as our packed items we then found different tracking labels on the boxes, we discovered we had several items (boxes, bags) that did not belong to us. Since 12/1 23, we have been emailing and calling Bridgeview and still are in have someone else's items. ON 1/23/24 I received a call saying the items would be picked up. No further calls have been received and no responses to the emails. I have been storing these items since 11/22/23. I need to have someone pick them up and I am sure the owner wants them. I also believe we need compensation for the storage of these items. I have saved all the emails and can obtain phone records to support all the communication I have had with them. I have tried in good faith to resolve this problem, but I am not getting them to respond. I currently have the belongings of another person/persons stored in my garage. Please help this get resolved. I am sure the other people want their items. It is also not right to expect me to store items that I have reported as wrongly delivered to our home. Please help.

      Hello, We will pay to have the items that are not yours shipped, regarding the delayed delivery if the Bill of Lading isn't signed at pickup and there is no delivery date added on there, we wouldn't know you are ready for delivery until you call, once you call we then update dispatch so they can begin the delivery process.       I am rejecting this response because: This response has come extremely late. I have invested countless hours dealing with this. I was finally able to get blue line storage to pick up the items. Now what I think is reasonable is for you to compensate me for the storage of the items. I reached out to you many times and you never offered to pay for the shipment back. That would have been reasonable. 

      Just as you would not store items without compensation, I believe you should compensate me for the months of storage of the items.

      I contacted **** Jan. 2 2024about moving to *******. I got a call from this Company and they said they could move me. I spoke to ***********************. He said they would line everything up and if any thing changed call them.I called them on Jan 13 to let them know I was not moving due to the fact I am now entering Hospice, They said I had a contract and I would not get my money back. They said I had ran out of time to get a refund. I was never told there was a time line...I then got a email today saying get a lawyer. How do I do this from Hospice...I feel I was cheated and lied to.

      Days before Im set to rent a **Haul (TX to **), Bridgeview (BV) calls me saying they could beat the price. I decide to go with BV over the **Haul since the prices were comparable. My move is really a simple one, >35 medium boxes, 65 in-tv, small kids ******** ******* about it, no more than 300 cubic sqft. Everythings packed on my end, items that can be disassembled are so, everything is neatly stacked and accessible for the movers. I was told the movers (MVs) would arrive on the 26/27th, & that I would get a call 24 hours before they do. I end up getting a call from a BV agent whos confirming there are no changes with the items I want moved. I tell him how I plan to add my bed frame & a few miscellaneous items, his response was along the lines of If we add these changes itll change the quote, but it looks like youre not moving much to begin with so the MVs will most likely throw your stuff on the truck with no charge. Its now the 12pm on the 27th ***ve heard nothing from the MVs. Few hours later the MVs call me saying theyll be arriving in one hour, to which I reminded them about the 24 hours. Hesitantly, they come early the next day in a small truck. The MV says I have more things than listed, theyll load it all, quote *** *** can accept it then if I choose. After its all loaded he says its roughly 600 cubic sqft (charged extra for the bed frame & extra items). I think the MV thought Id feel obligated to pay double since it was already loaded. I told him for that price they can take it all off the truck, Ill replace it all for a fraction of that. We renegotiated it to reasonable price & finished up. I know my items fit in an 8' x 7' x 8 pod, they didnt try to save space. On delivery, the new MV, big truck, had to park an extra 30 meters away, for a $75 fee, on a job that took less than 30 mins. The MV was rude, bed ********** were broken. BV emailed me to make a claim, the other company denies & says BV is liable. No one is answering the phone.

      When I received the call from Bridgeview I was told. " We are a national company that won't farm out the business and we won't inflate the price when we arrive to pick up your item like other companies" i gave them a list of the exact items to be moved which was estimated at 403 cf. When they walked in they said "this is 700 cf". We actually had 17 boxes instead of the 20 on the estimate. They blamed the 3 piece sectional couch, which was on the list. After much discussion with the driver while loading and having ******* at Bridgeview block 2 of our phones. My son said then take out the couch, which they didn't want to do, so they finally agreed to $300 more. Still shouldn't have had to pay that. The belongings arrived after 26 days, 4 1/2 hours late and refused to assemble the furniture per the contract, saying they didnt have the tools, but they will be back. Never returned. Called and left a message for a refund, with no response. So many lies with this company.

      Per the contract, it clearly states that we have to ability to outsource your move if needed, which in your case that's what occurred, the agent assigned to your file was BlueLion.  It also clearly states in our contract that your estimate is an estimate until onsite pickup occurs. If your items are larger than anticipated which sounds like your couch was, then yes, your price is subject to change. We have up to 30 business days to deliver you, and as you stated you were delivered in 26 days. There is no refund at this time for your move.

      I have nothing good to say about Bridgeview.The 2 representatives I spoke to, lied to me about the move. They said if I didn't use all of the space requested on the truck I wouldn't be charged for it. I was NOT told that there were "bulky item" charges for 2 of my items so I had to rent a uhaul trailer just to transport those. I was told to set my "1st available delivery date" as the day after pickup, even though it was a cross country trip. If my items were available for delivery before I was at my destination, I could "use the FREE storage" provided. They didnt say I'd have to give them prior notice for using the storage, and thered be re-delivery charges, so the total actually doubled, in addition to the uhaul. I only used the 350 cu ft of space I had requested on the truck, they charged me for 450 cu ft.When they came to load my items, I asked them to load my heavy duty boxes first, and stack the cardboard boxes on top of them. They loaded the fragile cardboard boxes first using too much space. I said my boxes would get damaged and the movers said " if you don't like it we can unload everything and you can forfeit your $1800 in deposits". I was told by both **** and ****** that they'd help me out with the extra charges, then they proceeded to dodge my phone calls for a week.When the items were finally delivered, there were 11 boxes heavily damaged, and one box was completely broken and the priceless keepsake items my Mom left me were on the floor of the trailer. Additionally, several pieces of art were damaged, and an expensive piece of cedar from my bed footboard was missing.Im asking for a full refund of the move, and reimbursement for the uhaul ($700), and the cedar board from the footboard of my bed ($600). The refund/reimbursement check should total $3,955. This total does not even include the damage to the artwork or my priceless family keepsakes (at least $1500). If we included those damaged items in the cost of everything, our total is $5455.

      No one is dodging your calls, you have been in constant contact with customer service and our dispatch manager **** You selected your 1st available delivery date as 12/19,  agent assigned came to deliver and you were not ready, therefore you were told you would have a re-delivery fee as any other customer would. Your claims/damages will need to go thru claims with ****** Moving as they are the agent that completed your job.

      Job No: R6023392 0n July 5th 2023, I contacted Bridgeview Van Lines LLC, regarding an interstate move from ******** to ********* for Sept 16 2023. After speaking with the customer service representative, we decided to utilize their services for our move.They shared that they are a "NATIONALLY RECOGNIZED EXPERT in the moving and relocation industry. With a friendly attitude and a confident manner, our carriers will exceed your expectations and make your experience smooth and PROBLEM FREE and are the best at getting the job done right and without hassle." We felt great knowing this and moved forward with a video estimate and sent an initial payment. ($3K) On Monday, Sept 11/23, ***************** called to confirm our pickup Z(and increase our estimate by $3K, but said we would only pay for the actual space our load filled. On Friday, September 15th, 2023, at approximately 8:30 pm a driver from a unknown company called stating they were moving us, arrived and increase our cost to $27.5K. I called Bridgeview Van Lines LLC. I was told by customer service that the company they sold our contract to must abide by the contract I signed with Bridgeview. When I conveyed this to the driver that they sold our contract to, he actually laughed and stated that he had never heard of "Bridgeview" and Bridgeview had no "power" over him. Bridgeview did nothing to assist us! Upon the request of Bridgeview's customer service, I sent a video of the truck that arrived at our home in ******** with more than half of the truck already filled with another customer's load. Again, ******************, LLC did nothing to assist us.I believe they were not truthful describing the relationship with the company they sold our contract to. I do not believe they vetted this company properly/thoroughly, nor did they determine that they were a trustworthy company. They sold our contract to an unethical company and did nothing but put money in their account and did absolutely nothing to support us.

After reviewing, there was a decision made to adjust the balance and we do have confirmation that the carrier did refund you $10,000 via wire transfer for those adjustments. Of course we are very sorry for the misunderstanding and we have done everything in our power to rectify the situation.       I am rejecting this response because the information they provided is inaccurate. First-there are two complaints, ONE AGAINST Bridgeview and the other against "the carrier" mentioned. Bridgeview is not "the carrier". They are two separate complaints. Bridgeview gave us an estimate based on the video walkthrough of our home 3 months prior to our move.  3 days before the move Bridgeview called and discussed raising the estimate by ~1500 cubic feet but informed us we would only pay for what we used.  We did not use the additional space and are looking for a refund of that additional unused space, as was promised.  This amount is $3,000.  After Bridgeport sold our contract to "the carrier", "the carrier" demanded payment for additional space including a second truck and a shuttle service as their driver claimed he could not drive the 51 ft truck up our street.  THAT WAS THE $10,000 refund given...due to "the carrier" fraudulently increasing the amount of required amount of truck space needed after conversations with us and the ********* Attorney General's office.

      Our complaint against Bridgeview has not been addressed.  The last we heard from Bridgeview was their lawyer would contact us which has not happened.  We are looking for the money for the extra space that was not used to be reimbursed as Bridgeview said they would do and as is in our original contract.  I would like to add that when "the carrier" added these unreasonable and fradulent charges we called Bridgeview and they offered no assistance and stopped taking our calls.

      I am rejecting this response because: It is not accurate Yes, we agreed to pay for extra c.f. during the quality control phone call with the understanding that we would only pay for the space we used (this conversation was recorded and you know what was said). The truck was already filled with another party's household goods when your driver arrived. Yes, he already had another party's load on the truck which is why our household goods would not fit!!!  It was a scam. When the truck arrived at our new home, the other party's possessions had been unloaded and only our goods remained on the truck. Our items did not come close to filling the truck. (I have a video of the truck upon arrival).

We were reimbursed for the fraudulent charges the second company (the company you sold our contract to) as they wanted to avoid any further legal. We want you to honor your promise that was given to us during our quality assurance call. We PAID you this money prior to the pick up. You promised that we would pay only for the space we used when you charged us a second time 3 days before pick up.  We used the original amount of cubic footage, not the upcharge you demanded in the ** call.  I have video of the truck upon arrival. I have sent it to you. Our goods were easily packed in it and it is  still remained half empty. You have not honored your promise that we would only pay for the space we use. We should be reimbursed, as promised, for the space on the truck we did not utilize when you increased the size of our delivery.
