On may 28,2021 my husband and I hired the Hauff company to build our dream home. Throughout the course of the build we have had our ups and downs along the way with concerns of the integrity of Mr.Jeremy H**** . The lack of Mr. Huff's communication and unwillingness throughout the build has been a Challenge needless to say. On 5/23/22 beams in our living / kitchen area where completed , upon our inspection of the completed work we noticed there were several holes in the ceiling along the beams . We asked what the fix would be , It was stated that a trim would run along the sides of the beams to cover the holes in the ceiling. I stated I don't want trim attached to my beans, we need to come up with something else . 5/24/22 they went head applied the trim with out our approval .Me and my husband we're very upset and we had the right to be. 5/25/22 we received notice from the Hauff Company that we will no longer be able to come on our property and go in our house without the approval and the escort of Jeremy. He literally locked the doors and locked us out with no key to go inside our own home. With the advice of the sheriffs department and the attorney they said we had the right to get a locksmith out and get keys made which we did on 6/1 /22. On 6/8/22 Jermey found out that we had the keys made and had are access back to our house , He Then proceeded to remove our locks completely from the house and apply all his own locks . Once again we do not have access to our house to even inspect what work has been completed. On 6/8/22 we retained an attorney and he wrote a letter to Mr. H**** see attached letter. Mr. H**** has not replied to the attorney nor to us and we still do not have access to our house. We are seeking your help into getting us our locks put back on . We legally have the right to be on our property and view our homes progress. The goal here is to work together and finish this job with us being able to have access to our home.
