I had a Goodman HVAC unit installed on11-16-2021 by AC One. I paid $5,900.00 All things seemed to go well with the installation. It was done in a few hours on the date listed. By accident my wife turned on the emergency heat to the unit rather than the regular heat. I did not know at the time she had mistakenly turned the thermostat to the emergency heat cycle. I happened to notice the registers were blowing cool air. I went and looked at the thermostat and saw it was on emergency heat. We had a heat pump before this one was installed. I was aware that the emergency heat blew warm air, not ambient air. I noticed right away after installation that the regular heat cycle blows warm air. I did not think much about it, because the person who installed it said I would be very happy with the unit's performance. I thought upgrades in the HVAC systems had simply improved significantly. I have turned the emergency heat on at sundry times. If it is cold outside, it blows cold inside. It does not work properly. I have made three calls to AC One concerning this problem. There has been no attempt by the business to contact me concerning the problem. On 2-20-2022 I happened to run into one of the fellows who helped install the unit. This occurred at Lowe's located on Fairfield Dr. He told me he had talked to the owner that morning, so I know he is available. I cannot understand why my calls have not been returned. The problem many not be a major one, but the unit does not function as past units did. My past units did not blow warm air on the heat cycle. I do not know if this is an improvement or the HVAC unit is not working as it is suppose to. It needs tending to. All supporting documents are in my original attempt to register a complaint #20154. I was told I had not filed a complaint but a review by the BBB associate. I am now filing a complaint.
