Horrible Contractor - Hire Lawyer First. Hired Randy ******* and six months later hired an Attorney. They knew him and apologized, calling him a real ****** to deal with. He was never on the job, then when he did show up (nails, framing, fasteners all over the ground) he was in shorts and flip flops. His MO is to monitor the job site using remote cameras. "Give the workers $40," was his suggestion to get quality work (lead worker returned high on Marijuana and forgetful the next day). Had to get County and Engineer involved when workers and Randy refused to build per the details of the Approved plans. He walked off the job without a roof on the new house, 3 weeks after the Marijuana incident was relayed back to him

Mr and Mrs ******* were clients of mine that I contracted with to build their home in Pace Fl. The problems I experienced with the clients began when the onsite construction process began. In 38 years of being a licensed builder I have never experienced the level of interference and confusion that was created by these individuals on a daily basis. The interference was with the subcontractors, suppliers and the building dept as well. Their illiterate and baseless demands as well as the verbal abuse of personnel onsite was a daily occurrence. Everyone involved with this project bent over backwards to satisfy the clients to no avail. 

     The ********s lived onsite in a small camper and their personal hygiene was intolerable and offensive. 

    I directed all of my vendors to be patient and do what was needed to get past the dry in stage where everyone could be paid for the work that had been done. The Salerno’s withheld paying me my scheduled draw based upon my contract and pay schedule for 29 days in the amount of $ 107,000.00. I had a clause in my contract that terminated my contract if I deemed necessary if payments due were withheld for 30 days or more. They paid me on the 29th day.

    After this payment I sent the ********s a written list of objectives that they would have to meet for me to continue the project until completion. The *******’S refused to agree to my requests so under these conditions it was in my vendors as well as my own interest to remove ourselves from the premises.

     I do have cameras on every job I have, they are a great tool to have to save time, stop theft and solve problems. 

     I am not aware of anyone at anytime being impaired or using any illegal substance while onsite or performing any duties on onsite.

     I have no idea of what attorney they reference in their review, I have not been contacted by anyone representing the *********

     When Mrs ******* initially submitted her review she stated that she was a code enforcement officer which she is not. I had to request that the BBB validate and correct this lie that she claimed with the BBB.

1. Our Attorney both mailed a letter to Mr. Randall ******* of RHS LLC (see attached dated November 28, 2022) and spoke with his attorney James *********, legal counsel with whom he had used on two previous lawsuits (his previous court activity was according to the first attorney that we spoke with, Attorney Joe *********** who represented other homeowners of Mr. *******'). 2. Mr. ******* also claimed that I was in Code Enforcement. I have never held a code enforcement position. Attached is a photo of the award that I showed Mr. *******, when I received it on August 15, 2022, days before he quit coming to the jobsite. Code Official of the 2022 Year from Washington State (where my home was located, while I was living in an RV during the building process). There is a tremendous difference between being in code enforcement and being a Building Code Official. 3. Sorry that I was sweaty on the job site; it's Florida and it is hot. 4.
