Writing to report that “Barrons Property Managers” are attempting to scam prospective tenants with properties that are occupied by families that OWN the homes. I inquired about a property, & since there were no interior photos (already a red flag), I arranged a family member to stop by the property as we are out of state relocating… (& as allowed according to the original email, as they will supposedly send one time lockbox codes), & was just as surprised as the family who lives there to realize it’s a scam listing. I emailed the company inquiring why this may have happened, & my email was immediately blocked by all emails I had communication with. I did not pay them any money, I’m not looking for compensation- moreso that they be reprimanded & the fake listings be immediately removed.

This prospective tenant was inquiring about a property that is not currently vacant.  We informed her when she contacted our office via email that current tenant had not yet departed the property, so it was not available for in person viewing at this time.  The prospect had apparently gone to the property and spoken to someone whom she thought was the owner of the property, but the owner of the property does not live in the unit.  There is a tenant residing in the unit that we manage for the owner of the property.  We also asked the prospect not to disturb the tenant and that she could view info and more pictures of the unit once the current tenant departed. This property they were asking about is not a scam listing and is listed on our website with a future date of availability. We manage the unit in question for the owner of the property and have done so for many years. Barrons Property Managers does not and has not ever listed a property for rent that we do not manage for an owner.

I am rejecting this response because:

I have our entire email feed, I have attached it & can send it to whoever I need to. I inquired originally asking for additional interior photos. I was told there were no photos available- & they were “hoped” to be obtained by beginning of August. (Even though it’s available to rent before then?). In that EXACT email, there was 1. Directions on how to get a one time lock box code to see the inside, & 2. A list of properties that were not yet vacant… this property was NOT on it. I was not told there were people living there, I was not told to “not disturb the tenant”, I was told nothing of the sort until I started asking questions that weren’t adding up. I had a family member drive by the property, as I am not yet local. The family living there claim they OWN the home, & are not moving out, & have no idea how a photo of their home got onto this rental website. No one was disturbed, & I had full rights to drive by a prospective property.

Why was I also blocked on all communications that prevented me from contacting this business any further regarding the matter? I have email proof of that too. That is why I submitted this complaint. I keep catching  red flags & when confronted I was blocked.

      Sincerely,

      ****** *******

These photos were taken both today, the listing available date is now changing.

I’m unsure what is happening here, but there is definitely something wrong.

Good morning, if you spoke with someone at the property who said they were the owner then you were not at the correct property.  The owner of the **** ******** property you were asking about does not live in the property.  There are tenants living there who have provided a move out notice and will be departing the property soon, thus why it is advertised with a future availability date.  Originally the property was to be vacant end of July and now has been pushed to end of August due to delay in that said tenant purchasing a home.  None the less, the owner of the **** ******** is not residing there, so it seems whomever you sent to the property must have been at the incorrect address.  Additionally, our office has not blocked any emails from you, nor did we ask you for any money.  If a property is listed on our website it is a property that we manage for that particular property owner.  All the best to you and your family in your search for a new home, thanks, BarronsPM

I am rejecting this response because:
You do nothing but fabricate in an attempt to cover up whatever is going on here.

see attached proof where I cannot communicate with the business. I cannot email Leanna ****** nor the original mailing system that contacted me regarding my inquiry.

I am done talking in circles with a supposed professional who seems to think I am in the wrong, & again uses fabrication regarding our emails that I have clearly included in my earlier complaints. I did not seek them out searching for issues… Nor was I “at the incorrect property”. Leanna ****** & Barrons property managers exhibited unprofessional & alarming mannerisms regarding a supposed property. Hence my complaint.

      Sincerely,

      ****** *******
