hired this moving company for Fe.12,2024. They were supposed to be at pickup location at 12pm. They showed up at 2:45pm. I was moving to another building and their cutoff time for delivery is 4pm. The moving company did not work fast enough, spent time trying to upsell me on packaging i didn't need, spent time on their phones doing personal calls. They were able to deliver my items the next morning, again, they were an hour late on the dropoff delivery time. They damaged a custom made desk and installed the queen size bed wrong. The delivery guy wanted me to pay them before they had even assembled the queen size bed. I refused and said that i pay when they finish assembling. Then before they left, i checked all the pieces and saw that they damaged a custom made desk. I immediately notified the guy and his office. They said "dont' worry, you can file an insurance claim with our company". I did file a claim and they only want to compensate me for $60. That's not even close to what the damaged on the custom made desk is costing. I tried to contact them and the insurance company several time and they don't want to compensate me for the actual damage plus time i lost from the delivery.
