      Ordered and paid for **** E bike secondary battery upon receiving a follow up reply phone call to my email inquiry about building the battery to order (3/20/24). Sales/owner? said they had recently received and filled several similar orders for the **** secondary battery. After payment , I Received order confirmation via email, but after 30 days I emailed and called and left message for status. I also left a message in their website CHAT box requesting status update. Chat box reply says email will be forthcoming from American Electric. I left another phone message again for status ( now May 1) No emails, no phone calls, no answer on contact us phone listed on website to place order or get information. . No correspondence from American Electric after payment received and confirmation email sent. All other email contact points such as customer service, info , contact us completely unresponsive. Will be contacting CC company for investigation and credit next.

      Order #**** placed on July 19th for a lithium battery and charger. Charger has not been shipped despite numerous phone calls and emails. I am looking for a refund for the charger.

      Purchased a battery in April for $804. After a long delay, received battery on June 15 and it did not fit my bike. Asked for refund per company policy. Returned battery on June 22. Since then have been promised a refund 15 times. Because I thought I was getting refund, I became outside of the dates for a credit card dispute. I have waited over 120 days for a refund that the company agrees I am due. I hope the BBB can help me with this situation

      I ordered a battery for my electric bicycle in June 2023. I paid $750 including shipping. About ************************************************************************************* with a shipping note along with tracking. However, the tracking did not work. Then I knew that they never had a battery ready for shipment to ************ contacted them several times and they did not answer my emails. When I sent a direct message to them on Instagram saying I was going to go to the Better Business Bureau and ************************* they answered by saying they would make sure this gets resolved in a speedy fashion. Haven't heard anything other than that they wanted to make sure my address is correct. A shipment from ******* to ********* takes 3 months at the most. It has taken 5 months already.

      -28 of November 2022, we ask American Electric to repair the battery of our electric bike. ***************, owner, ask to pay in advance, which we did. (499$ for the battery + 50$ for labor), Time passed. In January, after 3 calls with no return, we went knocking at the door. **** told us that the missing part just arrived, the battery would be ready next Tuesday. Next Friday (not Tuesday finally), after 2 months of waiting, **** told us he cannot repair this battery. We ask for a refund. He said he will keep 6 hours of work done on the battery and he will refund us 200$ ! No, I said, on your bill you ask us 50$ for the labor, not 300$!Then he offered us : if we buy a new bike at 1,100$ (Model of last year, he said) he will apply the complete 550$ on this amount. Since it is impossible to repair our battery and what we want is an electric bike that work, we accepted!The 30th of January 2023, we bought the bike.But unfortunately, the controller didn't work and the battery died the day after we took it. We return it to American Electric. They kept it for one week. They supposedly repaired 5 issues on it. But the controller and battery died again the day after we recovered it for the 2nd time. The 12th of February, we returned the bike and asked for a refund. *************** said he would refund, after a hard discussion, only 700$ of the 1,100$ we had paid. Even though I insist it is unacceptable, He refused to give us more. It was supposed to be deposited in our Credit Card Account 5 to 7 working days. After 10 working days, still no refund in our Card! We emailed him a word about it His answer was it will be deposited before the 7th of March! The 10th of March, still no deposit, we informed our **** card of the whole situation. They answered us right away, saying they will look at reversing the transaction. 3 days later, we received from American Electric a 500$ credit on our **** card !And the day after a 200$ refund. Transaction reversal is still ongoing...

      Dates of transactions: July 30, 2021, August 2, 2021, & November 9, 2021. Paid the business a total $819.00 USD. The business committed to provide me with a brand new non defective battery within a specified time which is not affected by backed up shipments. Payment was made via split payment methods. The nature of the dispute is that according to the receipts its been almost a year since I ordered this battery. I used the battery for one month and it stopped working due to BMS ******************* System) malfunction. Supposedly the battery is a ******* Cells battery with a rated power of 49v 29ah. I, Kapono Lindon, the consumer has contacted American Electric ******* repeatedly via phone (mostly) and email. Furthermore, they have promised to fix the batterys BMS and ship it out and refund shipping since almost 4 months ago as well as promised a refund for the shipping I the consumer paid for. A.E. *******. are not withholding their end of the agreement yet had held my battery since February 19, 2022 and still has not shipped out the battery. American Electric ******* created a label to ship out the battery on April 13, 2022 and **** tracking shows they have not shipped the item out as **** is still awaiting the item. Business has not tried to solve the problem as it has been almost 4 months now (from February 19) since American Electric ******* has received my paid out battery.
