On 1/25/2022 I entered into agreement with this company to provide impact windows and balcony door for my condo apartment. In order to move forward I wrote the requested check for $6,725 representing about 50% of the cost of the job. At the time of signing the letter/contract we were told by ************************* (company representative) that the turn around time will be 24 to *********************************************** September 2022. The balcony doors are still not installed, So I began contacting ************************* through texts, emails and voice massages and he apparently stopped answering my calls. In the last of the communications ************ just tell me "give me one more week" - it happened in the middle of December.I am seeking completion of the agreement - installation of the balcony door.Business response

Everything has been resolved with the customer. All work has been completed and final inspection from the City has been completed as well.

On 6/18/2021 I entered into an agreement with this company to provide impact windows for my condominium. In order to move forward I had to write a check for $5,840 representing 50% of the cost of the job. At the time, ****** ***** owner of the company, indicated that the turnaround time including installation was 8-12 weeks. As those dates came and went Mr. **** indicated that his supplier was having issues getting materials which is somewhat understandable today. However after repeated attempts to gain a new estimated delivery date, Mr. **** sent an undated letter from his supplier on 10/18 that indicated an 18-week turnaround due to work volume, shortages of materials and labor. Had written on that letter by Mr. **** was that the delivery date was now 11/18. So I began contacting Mr. **** through text, email and voice message as he has apparently stopped answering calls and returning messages. On the last of those communications I requested a full refund of my $5,840 as I will seek another option for this job. Mr. **** has not responded. I am seeking this refund in full as soon as possible.Business response

Business Response /* (1000, 10, 2021/12/07) */ ***** Hurricane Shutters Hello Mrs. ****** I am very sorry for the delay in responding to this very important matter to us, but last week I was in the hospital for a very serious health issue. I called Mr. ***** and communicated to him that unfortunately he is taking all the frustration on us the Contractor, but unfortunately we are powerless in the matter. As soon as we got a Signed Contract, we ordered the job through "MrGlass Windows and Doors Manufacturer" and we can submit to you the exact response that we keep on getting. I Quote: "The ongoing Covid Pandemic not only has affected our suppliers, but our own work force, together with an unprecedented high volume of orders, has forced us to extend our lead times; therefore, we had to move the Estimated Time of Completion (ETC) of your Order for Monday, Dec 06. We are doing everything possible to expedite our work; however, please accept our most sincere apologies for the inconvenience that this may cause. Thank you for your understanding. MrGlass" I communicated this to Mr. ***** and on Wednesday, Dec 08 we are going to install the job. We are deeply sorry for the inconvenience and can't wait to complete the job and to satisfy Mr. *****. Respectfully, Consumer Response /* (3000, 12, 2021/12/09) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) Mr. **** continues to play games with his customers. According to his response to the BBB the job was supposed to start yesterday and of course it didn't. Nor did he contact me to confirm. I tried calling him today and his voicemail is full. I texted him and he apparently has shutdown his phone. I have had enough chasing this gentlemen down and demand a refund. Granted communication could have been much better but from my perspective this case can be closed.
