on july5,2023 the mobile company came to our location todo a diagnostic on the issue on my food truck. the nephew of owner inform me and my business partner on the issue and what needed to be change and how much the labor was going to be which was $950 which the payment was sent Zelle with a 6months warranty. once he was finish he turned the air condition on to show that it was working. Because I have been having issue with one of my fryers I haven't been traveling to events so I never turned on the air condition since until august4,2023. once I turn it on it was blowing hot air, my business partner contact the company and was told he could come out Monday august7,2023. he told my partner that he had to change a part because the freon leaking out. my partner contact me because the the guy said it will be additional $550,i said why we haven't even use the air condition since you last came. He reply saying because of the new parts the old part can not keep up with the capacity . I respond and said it was nothing wrong when you took it out or you would have advise me of that issue and when you put it back in it wasn't broken. so between you turning the air condition on for seconds to show its working the pressure just cracked the pipe? he said it a possibility. I inform him to contact his boss and he still charged us $400 when we haven't use the air condition since and have a 6 month warranty.Business response

The initial check up with the car was on July 5th,2023. My employees checked the vehicle and fixed the problem with the compressor. The car's air conditioning then worked fine as checked and confirmed by the client. A month later the client calls me again asking if we can give it another check because it was blowing hot air. We did another checkup and fixed the evaporator, this job usually costs $650 but I lowered it to $400 in consideration he had already paid for an air fix a month before, they agreed. The checkups were both air conditioning related problems, but two different pieces of the car damaged. That is why the client was asked to pay again, it was a different piece that had been damaged and repaired then the original one we fixed. In addition, the client states he did not use the car for that entire period which we have no way of knowing. But also, even if the car is parked and unused things like this can happen because the evaporator is a piece with gas and pressure in it. So, with an old evaporator it is possible the pressure makes a small hole, and the gas blows out.
I am attaching both invoices for your reference.
Thank you,
