I am the manager for a new business that opened on 3/6/23. On 4/20/23, someone from the Labor Law Compliance Institute called me, saying by law I have to purchase and display the labor laws posters. They stated it would cost me $179 for the posters and $10.99 for shipping. They gave me a link to pay for it online through PayPal, in which I processed a payment in the amount of $189.99. However, I have never received any posters, a letter from them, nor do I have any contact information to get in touch with them. This is very frustrating considering we are a new business and now I have to order/pay for the correct posters. It would be appreciated if something could be done so they can't scam other businesses.

      Hello,

We are sorry, yes the order was placed and paid for. However, it did fall the cracks in our ******************* and was not shipped.

We have contacted the customer by phone and by email. We have offered a full refund of the $189.99. We also offered to ship the product at no charge if they would pay the $9.99 for shipping.

We are waiting for their responce.

We did not hear back from the customer on shipping them the product for free so we refunded the original purchase.

Labor Law Compliance Institute is a SCAM. Total misrepresentation of OSHA and Federal/State policing at the highest level. The lady from that company called and spoke with an employee at my brand new company and asked if anybody had reached out to our company yet to inform them of a legal requirement to have LABOR LAW posters posted in the buisness. When he said no, the caller took this opportunity to continue misrepresenting who and what they were and proceeded to charge $189 for the required signs. Once the signs arrived, it was clear as day that it was a scam as these are the same posters that can be sourced from the state for FREE. the Labor Law Compliance Institute is a private business, run by a dirtbag in *******. I have called no less than ************************************** their phone tree. THESE PEOPLE MUST BE STOPPED FOR CRIMINAL ACTS. Pretending to be a federal agent is a federal crime in the United States, punishable under 18 U.S.C. 912. It is a crime to falsely represent oneself as a federal agent or employee with the intent to intimidate or deceive another person. DECEPTION THROUGH INTIMIDATION.

Labor Law Compliance Institute does not represent its self as OSHA or any *************** The products ordered by this customer can not be obtained for free. There were 7 items shipped and received. The products were completely explained when the order was placed. The packing slip/invoice clearly explains our refund policy. The products have not been returned so a refund has not given. LLCI's address and phone number are on the packing slip/invoice and we have no record of this customer trying to contact our office. LLCI has always refunded any products returned under our refund policy. However, LLCI will issue a refund at this time even though the products were not returned. We are sorry that the person who orderd this was not authorized but we would have no way of knowing that. The person represented themselves as the owner or manger of the company. That person also provided a credit car number for payment.
