This is based off of my experience with them back in December of 2021. I should have done this earlier, however, after a certain amount of time where the owner never called me back, and my calls stopped being answered, I forgot. Decided to look at the reviews on ****** tonight and realized that this was not a one time issue, and these people are KNOWN to abuse dogs and have been reported many times.Back in December, I made an appointment for two of my dogs (a 10 year old rat terrier and a 17 year old chihuahua). My mother actually went into the bus with the groomer because my dogs do not do well with strangers and just wanted them to be less anxious, and thank god she did.My rat terrier has anxiety and is basically afraid of her shadow. She especially does not do well with men. The man grooming her (who showed up 2 hours late and asked us for water because they didn't have working a/c at the time) was aware of how skittish my dog was, and paid no mind to it. Since he was very late, he was in a rush to finish up my dogs and leave. While my dog was cowering on the counter, he dragged her across the counter back and forth by her neck and was getting angry and raising his voice at how she was scared and peeing everywhere. Did not put soap on her but instead rubbed a wet sponge over her and rinsed.Then, it came time for my senior chihuahua. She has been unable to walk properly for a few years as her legs are very weak and can't handle the weight of her body. My mother watched this man pick her up BY HER PAWS and move her around the van while she dangled and was clearly uncomfortable/in pain from the experience. She told him not to do that and he said, "this is how we do it here". To top it all off, he did not use soap on her either and even left her ***** dirty. When I noticed and told my mother, she went back to ask him to clean it and he told her to do it herself.The lady who finally answered my calls seemed completely unphased. No call from owner.
