Please do not hire this company, it is a scam, they charge for the work in advance and then show up asking for more money if you do not do it.

I am writing to urgently report a case of fraud and scam committed by EJ CON & ROOFING LLC. On Friday, August 2nd, I signed a contract with them for roofing work on my property located at *** ***** *** **** ****** ** *****. As part of the agreement, I was required to make a 60% down payment, which I paid with a $6,000 check, clearly specifying that it was for roofing. However, the agent sent by the company allegedly deposited the check into his personal account, and the money has since disappeared. Despite having signed all the official documents with the company, they now refuse to take responsibility for the missing $6,000. Furthermore, they are unwilling to complete the work because they claim they won’t profit from this situation. I am perplexed as to how such a fraudulent company can continue operating in the state of Florida. To date, I have incurred the following losses: • $6,000 as the initial down payment. • $12,000 in materials that have deteriorated due to bad weather. • Lost workdays trying to resolve this issue and obtain a proper response from the company. In addition to failing to meet their contractual obligations, the company’s representatives, who appear to be colluding due to their family ties, have insulted and threatened me, categorically refusing to perform the work or return my money. I have substantial evidence, including photos, receipts, audio recordings, messages, and other documents that support my claims. My losses are significant, and I am deeply concerned about the many other families who could be at risk of falling victim to this company. Im a small investor and Ive been using Ej cons & roofing For many many years Ive got nothing but great quality work they deliver what they promise I was surprised to see two bad reviews on here. I do about 6 to 10 House flips a year Ive been dealing with them for over 10 years Never had a problem reading those bad reviews. Im thinking theyre fake or another company trying to hurt this company.I trust this company with my eyes closed. I dont have to go look at their work because I know what ** getting.Theres no way they can have a bad review Either Thats another company thats mad or they mistaken the company for another company

We have used them lots of times for our customers. Everyone of those guys do great work! I highly recommend them when it comes to all your roofing needs.

From start to finish, EJ Construction and Roofing did an amazing job on my roof. They did everything they said they would do and more. They replaced all my bad wood, used the highest quality of materials, and cleaned up all around my house. I did not find ********* left on the ground which was a great concern of mine for walking my dogs. I highly recommend this company. They did several of my neighbors on my street and we all are very happy. Polite, courteous, punctual, honest, reliable, and affordable.

EJ cons number Owner Jimmy F***********, Wife Elizabeth F*********** Attempt to contact EJ Cons and Roofing has been made for request of warranty and review of roof. No response and my number has been blocked. EJ Cons and Roofing LLC has a violation complaint already filed against them. DBPR shows primary license location address as **** ******** **, Holiday Florida 34691. Spoke with neighbors who stated company owners main residence is **** ********* *** Tampa, FL 33610. This primary residence for company also found through Official USA. Company did not file correct business address on DBPR. At first I thought, is this what every first time homeowner deals with? Roof shingles under the flooring? Did the people that did the roof also do the flooring? They condone cheap labor and pray on innocent people. EJ Cons and Roofing LLC has violated code per Florida Statute 553.844, 25% rule. EJ Cons LLC last roof permit found dated 06/31/2021 for residence **** * ****** ** Tampa Fl, 33604. Inspection conducted 01/28/2022 by Hector M Lic #******. Inspector reported Flat roof older and previous repairs found. Further review past week 05/25/2023 identified flat roof joints sealed several times which concludes consist leak issues in the area. Tar used as a temporary fix for roof repairs. EJ Cons did not complete damaged roof to its entirety. Unknown amount of time or instances leak has occurred but is known that EJ Cons and Roofing LLC knew of the damaged and did not repair. Most recent leak began 05/23/2023. Contact has been made to company number and voicemails left. No response.
