Have not been a member at this gym since 2020, all of a sudden they started charging for a gym membership that had already been long canceled. May 2, 2022 I was charged $127.20. As instructed by the bank, I called the merchant and the owner answered. I informed him I had not been a member since 2020 and he said I don't care, "f-ck you" and hung up. Was charged today again in the amount of $148.40.Business response

To Whom It May ******************* complaint is simply an attempt to bypass protocol. The member had a discounted contract by agreeing to automatic payment. The member had never notified us to discontinue the contract. The computer system automatically runs the card on file automatically. It was being declined since January of 2021 and then in May the card was charged successfully and then the client called to dispute the charge. I explained that it was in the contract that they had to notify us. I asked if she had sent an email which is protocol for the business and she said she couldn't remember. Then she attempted to file for a chargeback through the credit card company.
