This establishment is very pricey, however, they do not stand by costumers warranty in reference to service rendered to people. I spent $995.00, replacing 2 sliding rollers and was given a receipt which gave me a warranty. The service was rendered on July 25, 2023. Since July 25, 2023, I contacted Sliding Door Express, in reference to having the same problem in which I initially contacted them in the first place for (My sliding door not locking). This is my 3 occurrence in which my sliding door not locking, since receiving service for $995.90 dollars from this establishment. I was informed that in order, for this company to render services, I need to pay an additional $30.00 dollars for service because it has been over one year since the service was rendered to my address. The representative then stated, Oh, I see here, it was two months ago, but you still have to pay the $30. 00 dollars service fee. I advised the representative that I will be reporting their false advertisement and fraudulent business to the Better Business Bureau. I also advised the representative, I would like to be reimbursed. The representative replied, Okay, have a nice day. If I cannot receive proper service, I would like to be reimbursed all of my funds. You mean to tell me that I spent practically $1000.00 dollars to turn around not even 6 months later to pay an additional $30.00 dollars to repair a problem that you attempted to repair 2 months ago. This is ridiculous!!!

12/29/22 Sliding Doors Express Don’t trust this company! Yesterday, after missing one appointment already, I had this company come out (again 1 hour late) to service my impact-glass sliding door. It needed new rollers and realignment. The technician was friendly enough, but he had difficulty removing the wheels. He explained that the frame was sealed with silicone which is common for impact-glass sliding doors and he would not be able to dismantle the frame to remove both sets of rollers. He proceeded to pry apart the bottom frame to remove both sets of rollers which made me nervous because it appeared to me to be a little rough, but I relied on his expertise. After the work was completed, it appeared that everything was working correctly. The bill was over $700.00 which I thought was way too expensive but I was happy to have the door finally repaired. After he left, I took a short nap and 3 hours later noticed a 3 foot crack in the class coming from the bottom frame that he bent. I’m not an expert but I suspect that bending the frame caused torque/stress on the glass causing it to crack. I called the technician and now the excuses started pouring in. “When I left your home, the glass was fine” he said. But I did not relent. His solution was to offer to replace the glass for free but I would have to buy the glass (for $300.00) and they would need to pick up the door and it would take 2 weeks to repair. I found this unacceptable. How can I leave my home unsecured for 2 weeks? Why should I have to pay an additional $300.00? I’ve called and left messages to management but they’ve ignored me. Bottom line, I paid over $700.00 and now my glass is broken. Today the crack has gotten bigger and a second crack is forming at the base of the frame.

Sliding Doors Express is a rip off. I hired them to replace the rollers on a stuck Sliding Patio Screen Door. They charged me $225 for labor and $340 for four sliding door rollers, a total of $515, I could have bought a brand new sliding patio screen door at ********** for less than $100. They sell the rollers for $5.00 each. Warning to potential customers, go to ********** and do not call Sliding Doors Express!

OMG! I inquired about an estimate. They came to give and repair, fix in the same day! Told me that to repair doors and screen was $750! I advised estimate only! Boy went to get his boss in the car! Neither one spoke much English! I am on a fixed income! They strong armed us into paying them for the rollers for the door ...$250! The replacement parts are $20 to 40 and labor should be no more than $175..We was robbed! We was scared they might kill us!. Now we cant lock our door! Rude, unprofessional! Wanted to wash his hands in my sink, wanted me to provide them bottles of water. Got grease from their boots on my floors, carpets. Made a mess! got grease everywhere.. I am still in fact shaking! I am scared they might come back to kill us!..This company is a fly by the seat of your pants! OMG don't get them to come to your house!!!! OH I knew they was funny when they asked for payment in CASH then said ok "a check".I said NOPE! If you don't take credit card, then we don't do business. The manger with the boy had to call HIS manager to get permission to take a CC. Shady! All I can say...SHADY!

Expnsave, rude, made my sliding glass doors worse than what they were. When I attempted to speak to the repair man he became agrassave mean and rude.

This company is highly unprofessional and does not know how to repair sliding glass doors. We live in a Miami condo built in 2017 with impact-rated sliders. We hired this company to repair and replace rollers on the doors. Two unprofessional technicians came to our apartment to attempt to repair the slider. After an hour or two of banging the door with a hammer, they packed up their tools and announced they could not repair the door. After their failed attempt the door was not operable. They made it significantly worse. They also left a mess and our balcony was covered with black grease. Repeated calls to the office asking to speak to the owner were unreturned. I blame myself for making the worst decision in my life to hire these people. I would caution anyone considering this company to hire someone else. I would rate them a ZERO if the BBB allowed it.

2 men came for estimate. Anxious to get it done I agreed to price and they were to do. It. All of a sudden there was only one man. He said he had no screening in his truck and the other guy was getting it … so an hour later they did the work … there were gaps and the bent one screen … they changed the rollers and the screening … but doors did not fit properly After a while afternoon I paid them and chalked it up to my desire to get job done . They didn’t have a clue as to what they weee doing … I called another company and they did what they could to fix my doors This company Sliding Door Express is farmed out to independent contractors who know nothing. That’s what I got for not going with my instinct and waiting for a second company. I figured how hard could it be. Now I know

Today is 10/6/2021 the technician cursed me out and demanded that I pay him for coming to my residence. If I knew this company charged you $250 to come out and give you a quote I would never ever have made an appointment. Save yourself the trouble ***** was the so called technician doesn't even deserve this title and I would never ever recommend this company. If I could give no stars I would do not hire them. One day they will meet their match.
