I sent payment for an apostille and translation of divorce papers. She never responded to my inquiries. Its been Since June 30th of 2022.Business response

******************************** has been my client for decades. I did all the paperwork for her divorce, and I did all the paperwork for the divorce of the man she recently married. She came back to me for translation of divorce decrees and marriage license because she wants to record her second marriage celebrated here in ******* also in *********, so she needed certified copies translated and apostilled. She came back to me because she knows I deliver.
I sent the documents to the ******* ********** of *************** of Corporations, Apostille Section and I got a tracking number I shared with ***************** Tracking #**** **** **** **** **** 40. On Sept 21st,2022 I called to follow up and I was told the back log was huge and that they were processing apostilles from July 13th.I shared this info with *****************, but she wrote a bad review on my ******** page anyway. ***************** must be very unhappy in her new marriage because she uses her time to write bogus reviews and defame people.
Today I called DOS again and I was told they are already processing apostilles from August, so ***************** should be processed very soon.
The reason why the backlog is so dramatic are because they are understaffed due to the pandemic and Hurricane ***. DOS offices are in ***********
I was confirmed that ******************* documents are received, they are docketed under my name and will be processed soon.
I kept ***************** informed all the time.I ALSO PROVIDED THE CONTACT NUMBERS FOR HER TO CALL DOS, DIVISION OF CORPORATIONS, APOSTILLE SECTION TO CORROBORATETHE INFORMATION I GAVE HER
There WAS NO NEED FOR HER TO INVOLVE BBB

Complaint: 17929313Wow! I want to set the record straight. First of all I became her client in 2018 by recommendation of my now husband. She processed my divorce with delays due to an error what should have taken 3 months took 6 months. I had to almost delay my wedding. Second, I paid her upfront in June, prior to sending her the documents on July 18th. She acknowledged receipt on the 25th of July (see the attached sms pics). She ignored me until September 21st. See attached sms message.I filed a complaint on her because I needed to fly out to Argentina to get my paperwork done. She misconstrued the evidence making me believe that she had mailed out the paperwork way before September 7 to make herself look like the victim. Now I have missed the opportunity to fly out. She continues to leave threatening messages on my phone for filing this complaint. Now I find out that she sent the paperwork on the 21st of September.People depend on her processing their paperwork in a timely manner.I learned my ****** and will not recommend her.Best regards,**************************;

****************Nothing of what she is saying is true. I didnt file her documents on Sept 21st. On September 21st I gave her the first update and gave her a tracking number.My office does have a backlog because I work alone and I dont stop taking care of my clients just because ***************** has requests new services.She doesnt need to fly to ********* to register her marriage. She just needs to send the documents via courier. This is the XXI century. If she wants to have someone doing the registration in person at the Registro Nacional de las Personasshe can get her documents delivered to a family member or hire an agent to do it. No one with a sane mind would fly 9 hours to register a marriage in a country where they dont live, so that statement arguing she lost the chance is nonsense. She hasnt lost any chances at all. She has always had the chance to call DOS and find out what date they are currently processing. As per today they are processing August 29th so it doesnt matter the date in which they received the documents simply because they are not even processing those dates yet.If she has any complaints she should contact ******* ********** of ************************** main number has an option to listen to processing dates. She should spare the drama for the rest of the world and deal with the public office which is delaying her documentsThank you!****************************;Doctora Di Vorcio @ ************** Divorce************
