      Booked this months prior to our move on March 14th with Lady Liberty Moving, made the final deposit to book the move a month prior and informed **** Liberty of our move for the 13th was the day for us to be out of our apartment instead of the 14th. On the week before the move have left plenty of messages and emails with **** Liberty in regards of time to expect them for the move with no communication or response back. March 11th someone from from **************** answered the phone, was informed is reaching out to dispatch with details and to call back. I called later in the day with same as usual leaving voicemails and emails with no response. The next day sent a email to cancel the move and seeking full refund on deposit due to no response. Later that day close to 6 heard from a moving company. Did not know **** Liberty was a broker, on their website there is no indication they are a broker or was mentioned to me when booking with them. Informed the moving company had to cancel it and get a U Haul truck with movers to load the truck. The movers was still wanted to do the move but informed cant due to money for them was spent on booking the truck and loaders. Still try to call with no response back in regards of the deposit. I think we were taking advantage of with this. They have our deposit, no response or communication back still to this day. Have checked my email, voicemail and spam with no communication from whatsoever. They should have informed from the beginning they are a broker and keep in touch with people who spent money on in booking this move. We wanted this to be hassle free and why we set it up early. An it became panic mode since had to get alternate options taking care of. **** Liberty likes to take Liberty of tricking people into giving money to them for a job not done.

      I hired this company to move my daughter from ******** to *******, July 2022. They immediately brokered it out to another company. They did not fulfill the contract that was signed with them in ANY way. The move was to be July 5, 2022. They did not show up until days later. It was paid to be a full service move. They showed up and argued that it wasn't and refused to pack my daughter. The brokered company, Tacoma Movers pressured my daughter to sign another contract under coercion and intimidation, costing thousands more. She wasn't given time to read the new contract with Tacoma. She was told if she did not sign immediately, that Tacoma, the movers would leave. She ultimately left her sofa and side chair behind to decrease the cost. And the employees loaded the abandoned furniture into their personal vehicles to keep. One employee warned her that her belongings would be stolen. They would not answer phone messages as to the expected delivery date. It was contracted to arrive within 21 business days. However, after many calls to inquire, it was over 30 business days before it was finally delivered by yet another company that refused to place the belongings any further into the residence than the garage. They were contracted to re-assemble the furniture, but refused and left. They broke my daughter's dresser, lost parts to furniture that they did not re-assemble making the furniture useless, and lost other belongings. But the worst was that two guitars with cases were stolen along with an expensive set of power tools. Yes. I said stolen. I am convinced that these movers pawned these items. I mean, an employee admitted that expensive items would be stolen. No compensation has been offered. In fact, they have stopped taking calls from my husband too. My daughter says it was the most stressful thing that she has had to endure. She was screamed at and threatened by these movers. If you hire this company you may as well say goodbye to your sanity and belongings.

      First, we would like to apologize for the unfortunate events that happened while moving.
      In our industry, we rely on teamwork and servicing our customers together. It is common for a lot of companies to have a different carrier execute a move while the company still facilitates the process. Tacoma Movers has completed a multi-step screening before becoming a part of our network of trusted carriers. So far, they have completed numerous moves with no problems or issues whatsoever.
      Unfortunately, your belongings have fallen victim to the ugly side of our society. Lady Liberty does not condone any maliciousness of such kind. We believe that this was a hard-knock ****** for our partners and we are confident that they would take the necessary precautions.
      Our company takes pride in advocating for our customers. We understand that issues regarding our moves are not wished upon but expected. Of course, "stolen/missing items" cases like yours become a priority for us. In order to get compensation, your next step would be to file a claim through the Tacoma Movers claims department and/or arbitration program. Everything needs to go through the carrier insurance. We will continue to advocate and keep your best interest at heart until the case is fully resolved.

      My son contracted Lady Liberty to move from his apartment in ************ to ***********, ** in July. They then sub-contracted the move to *********************, LLC and picked up his belongs on 7/13/2022 with an approximate delivery date of 7/214/2022. Today is 8/17/2022, my son has not received his belonging and had to purchase an air mattress and other things so he can start his summer college semester. By the way, his belonging apparently are now in *********** in an undisclosed location. I have asked for the address and have not received any info. No one will speak with you directly. It's strictly text and disgraceful how this has been handled.He/we have been attempting to communicate with both of these companies and are not receiving any answers about where and when his belonging will be delivered. When they do communicate, I get the 30 business days from the proposed delivery date which would be Sept 2nd.I find this very unsettling that my son has none of his clothes, bedding, etc and he is in ********** with no one, family, friends or otherwise to help support.

      We completely understand your frustration however its been a very busy summer season and there has been many delays. Your sons move was a very small move going cross country.  Also we have been checking with the carrier every few days to make sure that your loaded as soon as possible. We can only help facilitate contact with them for you as they are within the terms of the ****** If they go past ************************************* Please don't hesitate to contact us directly for any updates.
