      I recently used Live Moving and Storage for a move, and unfortunately, my experience was quite disappointing. Initially, everything seemed fine; the movers were prompt and courteous. However, the real issues surfaced when I started unpacking.Firstly, my shoes were carelessly stacked on top of each other, resulting in several pairs being completely ruined. Considering the cost of the move, I expected more care with handling delicate items like shoes.Secondly, I had opted for a wardrobe box to transport my clothes, expecting them to be neatly hung inside. Instead, my clothes were simply dumped into a regular box without any provision for hanging. This was particularly frustrating as it led to significant creasing and wrinkling of my garments.Thirdly, I entrusted them with packing 30 paintings, specifying they be individually packed and not stacked. Unfortunately, they disregarded this request, resulting in scraped paint and finger prints on several artworks. This contradicted their claim of "white glove service" and left me deeply dissatisfied.Overall, I paid $1200 for a 6-hour move, which is not insignificant for a one-bedroom apartment. They actually initially gave me an estimate of 600 for a 3-hour move, so prepare to double. Given the damage to my belongings and the lack of care in packing them properly, I am extremely dissatisfied with their service.After requesting a $400 refund from $1200 paid, they refused, offering discounts instead, insisting items were well-packed. They agreed to refund $400 but wanted a 5-star review first, which felt unethical. Despite agreeing to mention the pending refund, they insisted on a higher rating, feeling like a bribe. Compensation for damages is pending.

      I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me. I was refendes 400$ out of 1200$.

      Movers came and moved my families personal belongings from ********* to Boynton. The television was checked prior to them moving it and it came on and was in perfect condition. Once the movers got the 86 in tv in the new home and unwrapped it we noticed it was upside down. We then hung the tv and turned it on. Upon powering it one, we noticed the tv had been damaged from the movers. It has pressure points on it from the tap of how they wrapped it in boxes with tape. I assume they had something leaning up against it. I called to report it to the company IMMEDIATELY and they advised they were not liable bc their guys stated they did not mishandle our things. I provided them with the photos and video as well as the purchase receipt IMMEDIATELY. They stated they would call me back today once the manager is in offer. Today is 2/5 and I called them bc they did not call me. *** advised they would give me $280 for a television that cost me $1602.00. I explained that the Actual Cash Value of the ** at the deprecation rate was $1280. He stated he would not be able to pay that. I asked for his insurance company name and policy number which he stated he would not give me. I explained to him I work with insurance and I understand how this works but he stated he would not give me the general liability company or their motor vehicle insurance info. He then offered to give me $500, but again that is not the depreciated value of my television that was in perfect condition prior to them moving it. We came to no resolution. The total move was $910.00 I would of at least been happy with saying we'll refund you for the move but no effort has been made.
