The yard project that I contracted with Thinking Green Landscapings, **** started off ok on November 10th, but when some aspects of the job weren't going as planned, I expressed my dissatisfaction to the owner (*****************************) who was on site. I was unexpectedly met with coarsely abusive language, but that didn't stop me from complaining about that poor quality of the sod that had also been laid unevenly in one section (see images). I kindly asked ****************** to replace the sod before leaving, but he refused at first. I then persuaded him to sign an agreement stating that full payment would only be made if the grass eventually turned green with proper care or if he changed his mind and replaced the sod for some in better condition. When ****************** understood that I would only be making partial payment that day, he stormed off in disgust without even completing the rest of the project.Since then, I've attempted to resolve the impasse between Thinking Green Lanscapings and me but to no avail. Unfortunately,my appeals for a resolution have gone unanswered, and instead I've recently begun to receive invoices from the company indicating that my final payment of $528.58 is past due. In the meantime, I've had yard man replace the nearly dead sod that wasn't improving and and even up some of the shoddy work that Thinking Green Landscapings, **** left me with.Business response

I would like to begin by stating that from the first day client complained we wanted to resolve the problem . The entire job did not go bad, it was a small area. We offered to replace the grass and we're told "no!!! " We explained that what happened was not our fault considering there is not a sprinkle system on premises. We can not guarantee our job 100% if grass does not have required amount of water needed to grow. Non the less we are a respectable company servicing South ******* since 2011. Our goal is to always have happy clients. We are ready to acomdate just need client to cooperate and let us do our job.Customer response

I am not willing to deal with this company any further. They used abusive language and were quite disrespectful during the job process.They contacted me approximately 5 weeks after the job was completed to ask for the remainder of the money. They also sent a past due notice immediately after that.
I have had to pay additional fees to other contractors to get the grass repaired. The contractor said it was a small area that needed repair but it was almost half of the sod that was laid that was in poor condition.
We have reached an impasse. I am *********** not deal with a company that treats their clients in an unprofessional manner.
At the time of installation I expressed dissatisfaction and my comments were met with deaf ears. Please let the contractor k now that I will not have or want any further contact with them.
They are not professional with their clients.
