On June 26, 2022, I signed my daughter, ********** *****, up for the Citrus Blitz 2022 Fall Flag Football Season in Citrus County, Florida. We registered her using the platform sportsconnect.com through stacksports, and paid $55 dollars with a 3$ service fee. After this date, Mighty Kids Sports, (the business that I am making a complaint against) posted on their Facebook page that they were going to hold future in person registrations. We decided to go to the final registration in July to get more information for our daughter as to times and dates things would begin. When we arrived, no one from Mighty Kids was there at all. We went home, and waited for further information. After receiving nothing, my husband messaged their Facebook page and they told him not enough children signed up- likely because Mighty Kids didn't even show up for their own registration. We were disappointed to hear our daughter couldn't play but simply asked for our $58 refund. They told my husband they would send out the refunds via check that Friday. This was on Aug 11. We never received the check, so I messaged them again, asking for an update. They claimed they sent the check, but that I gave them the wrong address and they would send again. I did not give the wrong address. After several weeks, we still didn't receive anything. I messaged them again, today, September 12, and they said, "I freaking sent it" and then blocked me from further contact. I have sent them emails at the two addresses I have, [email protected] as well as [email protected]. I also sent an email to stacksports, to make them aware of the issue. I would like your help in contacting this business so I can receive the refund that is owed to me. The order number for this is 12579616. I paid this company with my debit card on June 23, 2022 at 2:33pm. Mighty Kids Sports has not kept up their end of this transaction. Thank you for your time.Business response
