Stephanie P******* of Lavender and Lace Wedding Florist was listed as a preferred vendor for the wedding venue The ***** ******* located in Howey In The Hills Florida. We contracted in September of 2021 to have her create the floral arrangements for our daughter Sarah's wedding on 11-19-2022. 1. Stephanie added floral items and decor items to the initial signed contract despite being told we did not want to use those items from her. She avoided phone calls and meetings, but eventually removed the items about a month before the wedding. Stephanie then overcharged us to maintain the item values deleted although we added items to the contract that did not short change the original total. WE PAID HER IN FULL BEFORE THE WEDDING PER HER CONTACT GUIDELINES IN THE HOPES SHE WOULD DO THE WORK. 2. Stephanie refused to receive the glass vases we had agreed to provide her for the ceremony flowers a week before the wedding. She insisted she would prepare the flowers and insert them on the wedding day and there would be no issues. 3. Stephanie arrived at 2:30pm on Saturday 11-19-2022 the day of the wedding, although she was scheduled to arrive at 12 noon as agreed and scheduled by us and our wedding coordinator Lauren V******** with ***** ***** ******. Stephanie was angry and did not prepare the flowers in the glass vases, attach the reception flowers to the stands, secure the bridal aisle runner and sign off with the me or the wedding planner to ensure all florals matched what was ordered. 5. The bridal bouquet, toss bouquet, MOH and bridesmaids bouquets, corsages, gift floral arrangement for the venue coordinator, did not match the photographs given a year earlier and included in the contract. 6. Stephanie angrily stormed out of the venue and despite several phone calls by the venue and wedding planner to return and fix the problem,elms. She never returned and chose to intentionally hurt the bride, groom and family.
