      I purchased a engine cover for my 2002 Ford Thunderbird from this company. When it arrived there were no instructions. In the paper work it stated that there were no printed instructions at this time. I called the help line number. They told me that I would have to bend it to make it fit. Upon looking at it even before trying to bend it I could not fit my engine. After some back and forth with them I sent it back. I then received an email saying that they could not accept my return because it was bent and scratched. The picture they emailed was not what it looked like when it left here. It cost me $50 to return it plus the $350 to purchase it. I have not got anything back from them. Either a useless part or my money. Anything you can do to help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

      Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2022/01/07) */ Hello, Regarding this issue with Mr. ********, It seems the issue is being twisted in a way. This item is dress-up parts made to order. The item requires forming to install as most do. During a phone conversation and upon hearing this Mr. ******** attempted the install. He later called saying the item did not match up. We agreed to take the item back for a refund. In the email sent for the return, which references our return policy, we stated the item must be in good condition when we receive it. This was not the case. When we got the item we immediately took photos and sent them to Mr.********. You can clearly see he attempted the install, failed, and attempted to return the mangled remnants of this product. He then asked us to ship it back to him realizing he was caught in his lie. I told him we would not cover the cost but he could if he wanted the product back. He refused and that brings us to where we are now. Sadly, this issue could have been solved with a little patience. The liars here are American Car Craft. They accepted my money knowing that this product would not fit my car. If their sales department were doing their job all of this could have been avoided. We have been fabricating these parts for some time. If the instructions are followed properly ( which they clearly were not) the part was made for the customers car and would have fit. Also there would have been no need for this if our return policy methods were followed. We have no need or want to tell a lie about something so simple. The customer tried to return a part he damaged because he couldn't handle the installation. Thanks but no thanks for your lack of help in my problem with American Car Craft.
