  Date foundation poured: 11/16/2023 Rain was in the forecast, but **** at Elite Concrete stated they would pour early in the morning before the rain comes. Concrete truck arrived an hour late. I witnessed the concrete mixture pouring out of the chute very soupy (wet). Right after the 2nd truck finished pouring, it started to rain before the concrete had a chance to set. Elite Concrete waited a whole hour watching it rain on the newly poured foundation (not making any attempts to protect the surface), then called me over to tell me the surface would be damaged and stated he can deduct $1000 off my bill of $7800 to apply it towards tiles, stating the surface can be tiled (tile cost way more than $1000). He told me he expected payment that same day, so I paid him $6800. I then left to go out of town for Thanksgiving. 2 weeks later I returned, went to inspect the foundation and took pictures of the damaged surface. I had a foundation expert, a builder, a concrete contractor, all inspect the slab and they all told me it was a "bad pour", and should be dug up and repoured. I asked **** at Elite Concrete to dig it up and repour it and he refused. The surface is too badly damaged for anything to stick to it. It was going to serve as my main floor to my house, so the surface was very important to me. I was quoted $3500 to grind the surface down til smooth by another company. I consulted with an Engineer from an Engineering lab who ran tests in 10 different spots, their test concluded that I did not even get the 4000 psi I paid for. (Report attached). I did not attach my blueprints, but Elite Concrete were supposed to put in a ground bar in the footing, put in control joints and a broom finish (all of which I did not receive). Elite Concrete also left their forms right next to my foundation after they removed them from the concrete, leaving me with the mess to clean up. I requested a full refund from Elite Concrete, to date I have not received it.

  ******, I am sorry that you feel this way. I asked you that I could come back and fix it the next day and you told me no **** leave it that you could take $1000 off the bill we both agreed to it and then the job was done now youre coming back on me Ive asked you numerous times that I can go back and fix it and youre not letting me you your words were exactly stay off my property, or I will press charges, so you need to make up your mind what you want youre not gonna get a full money refund because you asked me to leave it. That way it couldve been fixed. Have a nice day.

  I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.
  The concrete supplier has admitted fault and reimbursed Elite Concrete, and I received my full refund.

  Hired Elite Concrete to do a simple sidewalk on the side of my trailer I gave the owner **** my drawing that morning he took a picture of it, He made my sidewalk to my trailer sideways to my trailer, From the front to the back Is a 9'' difference, Then told me that my trailer was crooked, He will not fix his s**** up and was trying to manipulate me. This guy is not very professional and will not own up to his mistakes.

  I am sorry that the customer felt like that I have pictures that the job looks amazing and he wanted me to do something that was illegal up against the property line and I said no so hes giving me a bad complaint and a bad name because I didnt want to do something illegal.

  This is a mobile home that we are replacing the existing concrete that was under the stairs on the side of the trailer because I wanted the trailer skirt to attach to the concrete, We are not going any closer to the property line than the existing concrete was, And then I also wanted to extend the sidewalk to the end of the trailer nothing illegal about it, It is a sidewalk non load bearing and non structural, If it was illegal why didn't **** a licensed contractor tell me it was illegal before he started the job that's all he told me that he could pour up to 500 sq. ft. of concrete without a permit. There is nothing wrong with the quality his guys poured it, His guys know what they are doing, The problem is it is not straight with the trailer and it is poured on top of my tie down adjuster that is definitely illegal, It is 9'' out of square to the trailer and it looks like a two year old did it. Hard to believe the owner **** of Elite concrete would do this and then try to manipulate and lie to me after I spent ********* on concrete and tipped his guys ****** for the driveway and seawall. That's what you will get from Luis of Elite Concrete.

  The job was done fine. I asked him if he wanted me to line up the sidewalk with the mobile home or line it up with the other sidewalk. He told me lets line it up with the other sidewalk so it could look straight. The job looks great professionally done *** Tried calling him to talk about it, and all he does is curse at me. I am a professional business owner. I will not be disrespected by him as he said on the top message the job looks great.

  Contractors that pour concrete do not pour concrete this way it is not square or straight with the trailer like the plan shows the string line is where the concrete should go as to the plan, my stairs are going to hang off the concrete also by the ** unit is not to plan 12'' of the sides as to the plan, and on the back he poured over top my tie down adjuster, this is a ********** job that i did not order. Like I said he is a manipulator and that is what he is doing to try to save his but.
