Beware!!! Very shady ethics!!! I have never been taken advantage of this bad in my life!!!! I had an issue and needed emergency help with a water line break as I was out of town on business and my wife was home with no water (separate story)! Ruiz Plumbing was called by random fate. When the owner (Jose) arrived he did call me. He told me how very bad a situation I had along with a few other choice words. It sounded incredibly bad the way he explained it and since my wife had no water and I was in Colorado I didn’t have much of a choice and had to get it fixed! He knew he had me and said $2000 it’s a big job that will take a lot of time! He did the work in under 2 ½ hours and charged us $2,075! Additionally he never finished the job! He left a hole in my wall with a pipe sticking 12” out telling my wife he would come back after the hole if filled. I thought the $2,000 included fixing the wall. As I said he knew he had me! So when I got home to inspect the job, I was disappointed by the way they left it and didn’t see even close to $2075 worth of work. So I called Jose to discuss the work and educate/justify me on the $2075. After hearing him say it is what I agreed to and that’s it! I told him I rarely write a review, but this is just ripping me off and could I expect an adjustment based on a ridiculous $830/hr rate. He lost it on me screaming into the phone GO **** YOURSELF, KISS HIS ***, write reviews or whatever I DON’T GIVE A ****! Quite an attitude for the owner of the company??? Later, I texted him to have him finish the job since I filled the hole in the wall. Not surprisingly he has Ghosted me! I never raised my voice or said anything rude to him but Jose I am writing reviews, lot’s of them and I will post them often! Not a very professional or caring attitude! Additionally he did not honor the 15% senior discount advertised on his website and my wife was afraid to ask for it! Find anyone else, this company will take advantage of you!
