On Thursday, March 10, 2022, a tow truck was called from Scally's Lube & Go. One of my business vehicles was in an accident on a rural section of N Florida Ave. The truck arrived and hooked up to our van. After the van was hooked, we were informed that we had to pay cash right now or the van would need to be taken to the impound lot. We were willing to pay whatever amount we needed to pay to have the truck towed. The manager refused to accept credit card or any other method of payment. We had to pay cash right on the spot. Cash which my employee did not have. At this point, I was called and attempted to remedy the situation. I offered to give my personal debit card number if he would not take credit. The manager refused and stated that I could cancel the transaction after the fact. I informed him that we are a multi-location business, and I would give him any guarantees, personal or business. I offered to give him my license number. He still refused and would only accept cash. I decided that I would just use another company that took card. We even told the company we would pay for their time. We asked multiple times to unhook the van. The van was not on the tow truck. It was simply hooked. The manager demanded that we pay cash immediately or he would take it to his impound yard. He effectively held our vehicle hostage because I couldn't meet his specific demand the way he wanted. I was willing to pay in any way possible. The business we operate doesn't take cash. There is no cash at the individual centers, and there is no cash at the home office. The employee working had no cash on him. Scally's acted in an unreasonable manner. I had to drive over three hours there and back. The sad thing is that we were willing to pay. I was ready to pay to unhook the vehicle. However, this company acted unethically and unreasonably. I ended up running 190.80 in cash up to the site, costing my 3 hours of my time and my employees time.Initial Complaint

Took my truck in not running they had it over 3 weeks charged me for parts that didn't repair it now I have to get it towed to another shop to be repaired
