Appointment 05/02/2024 Could do not schedule an appointment via automation at *****, called several times to request a more personable small town blood draw center. Left voicemails, even with "emergency answering service" from 12-1 the lunch hour.04/08/24 12:58 04/08/24 12:59 04/18/24 10:48 04/18/24 10:59 04/18/24 2:13 04/26/24 12:54 04/30/24 10:24 *inally spoke to someone. Exclaimed it was to late to do bloodwork and have it reviewed in time for my appointment. The receptionist confirmed my blood draw center was changed back on the 18th. I replied "Why the * didn't anyone notify me? How am I supposed to know where to go?!" I moved on and said I have a second question, "Why does my emailed reminder say my appointment is in *********? I have never gone to *********; you are Crystal River Family medicine!" She explained it was the tornado and that a doctor was allowing them to use their office. I replied, "How come I was not notified of this when I made the appointment, or sent a postcard?" No answer, I said, "This is very inconvenient and if I did not see the email I would have gone to the wrong place, and said I would have to find a new primary if this continues as it has been 7 months" She voluntarily said, " I cancelled your appointment" and that upset me as I did not request it, I replied "NO honey you are not cancelling my appointment I will see you Thursday morning!!!! Add me back to the schedule NOW! it takes 6 months to get in with a new primary!!! I need this appointment!"05/01/24 5:12 I receive confirmation from **** in voicemail that my appointment is at 8am tomorrow please call us to confirm.05/01/24 5:30 I am called and told I am hostile and am being terminated as a patient.Apparently, irresponsibility in communication is rewarded there, and the patient is PUNISHED for their frustrations with the lack of communications which is BASICS. I would love to send a complete phone log as proof.
