Please do not think this company cares about you, your property, or anything more than getting paid. I know it is a for profit corporation but geez at least try to act like you care. We recently had our septic tank and drain field replaced by Crown Construction (outstanding, see our review) as Lickety Split is nothing more than a sales company. Empty promises, shady contracts (scribble on an estimate sheet is not a contract), no one on site during any of the work. The only person to come by unannounced was ****** to see if the job was done and they could get paid!! Unbelievable. Lickety contacted our loan company a month before the permit even arrived saying the job was completed to get paid. I received a call at 8am the day after the job was finally completed after 2 days turned into 8 from ****** seeing if they could mark our order as complete and not to worry about contacting the loan company he would at some point. Yes, he did contact them because I had 2 emails from them 15 minutes prior to his call to me. Shameless!!

Totally burned me....Charged $99 to AMEX for setting appointment. Plumbing service tech called and said they probably will need to replace PVC. They charged $882.35 for one hour plumbing repair. They did not replace any PVC as the quote was originally based off of. They never gave a receipt for the $99 charge. They did not deduct the $99 from the invoice. They will not return my numerous telephone calls and their e-mail addresses are not viable. On a side note, the plumber left a mess.

My brief and last encounter with this company has been nothing short of a nightmare. After discovering a leak in our water system, we engaged Lickety Split Plumbing to address the issue. However, their service was marred by unprofessionalism, incompetence, and outright unethical behavior.Here's a summary of what transpired:Misleading Charges: Lickety Split Plumbing initially demanded upfront payment for equipment rental, which turned out to be unnecessary. They then proceeded to provide an exorbitant quote for the repair, without clear communication or transparency.Poor Workmanship: Despite our agreement and payment, they installed the wrong type of pipe (PVC), leading to further damage to our plumbing system. Subsequent attempts to rectify the situation only exacerbated the problem, leaving us without water for an extended period.Unethical Conduct: When confronted with the ongoing issues, the company's master plumber, Mr. Chuck R****** attempted to shift blame onto us, accusing my husband of causing additional damage. Moreover, there were accusations of bribery when my husband offered a token of appreciation for Mr. R*****' service. In light of these egregious actions, I urge you to exercise caution and avoid engaging with Lickety Split Plumbing for any plumbing needs. Their lack of integrity and disregard for customer satisfaction are evident, and I would hate for anyone else to undergo the same ordeal.Instead, I recommend seeking assistance from reputable, local plumbing services that prioritize professionalism and accountability. Would prefer 0 stars but not an option. I called to cancel the ** check same day and requested a refund since I had to pay up front and not a rescheduled. Received a call the next day from the "owner" insisting I leave the scheduled time which was 10 days out and reiterated I just wanted a refund. The person kept hounding me to keep it and i said no I want a refund and told him I was hanging up and if it wasnt recd I would contact the BBB and my bank. Well yesterday I recd a text stating if I would give them a 5 star rating on 2 sites they would give me a refund. That was the last straw so I'm leaving this review.

After having the company supposedly come out to a property I am currently under contract with to do a pump out and an inspection because they said a pump out was required to do an inspection and paying $895 for tech to call me while he was at the property supposedly to tell me my septic tank was completely destroyed with roots, It was out of code and gave me a quote for a new tank and drainfield of $33,000. After contacting the office multiple times I finally receives a report 2 days later that had no photos to send to the seller to show the repairs that were needed. My realtor even reached out to the techs for details on the repairs needed and he told my realtor when she reached out to them that they did not need to do a pump out bc the tank was practically empty, so I said I would like a refund because I paid for a pump out, but it was not done the manager then told me that I would not get a refund because its not their fault that a pump out wasnt needed And that the seller Should have known that their tank needed didnt need to be pumped when I asked about photos with the report, I was told they couldnt release photos to me, even though they were released the report to me because I am not the owner even though I got the report and paid $895 for the inspection. I told them the seller has reached out multiple times to their office to try and get photos to show proof of the damage and why anyone would be paying $33,000 for repair. All he wanted to do was continuously say that they try to provide the best customer service when I the customer needed a problem solved because of them, and he had no solutions and then continued to boast about how quick they are and how other customers just had septic tanks put in and theyre ecstatic because of their work. Due to his arrogance I hung up the phone angrily. The company came out and said it did need out a pump and the tank was completely fine and passed the inspection with no problems. Nothing was wrong with my tank.

This company is awful and I never should have called them. They charge $99 to come out and quoted me $1900 to change a shower volume valve which is a $35 dollar part. Complete rip-off. BEWARE

They ****. Hired them to clean a drain line on a rental house. It usally costs two or three hundred. They charged $1000.00. The line backed up again within two weeks. Not trusting Lickety, I called another plumber and he charged $200.00 to clean the line. He sent me a photo of the roots he cleaned out. I called Lickety Split to ask for a refund. I got a call back from the owner's wife who was upset with ME! I had given their company a one star review and she was ****** about it. Not only would she not give any refund, she also hung up on me.

Incompetent! Beware!!! It took four days for a guaranteed same-day service, and three out of four of the items that were in the scope of the project were done incorrectly. *******************, after not returning my phone call and having to be tracked down admitted that at least 50% of the job was botched then refused to refund any of the $5K charges.Finally on day 4 of return visits was able to speak with the female co-owner; ****************** She and her management team are unprofessional, rude and condescending. She and her CFO telling a customer that is rightly upset to calm down and Im sorry that you feel that way then having the plumber still not show up on time visit 4 is inexplicable. Facts are facts. Plumbers were late to EVERY (initial and 3 additional) appointment with random excuses that were proven to be outright lies given. Initial plumber botched jobs. All of the plumbers I interacted with were newly hired and/or newly promoted to management. Very telling. Owner made religious references multiple times while shirking accountability for their unprofessionalism and incompetency. Likety Split needs ***** to take the wheel! Proceed with caution if you consider using their services.
