We purchased our new construction home with a brand new hvac unit from One Stop. The unit came with a 2 year warranty. We had the unit serviced multiple times. In May 2022, we began having issues with the unit not cooling properly and requested it to be serviced. ****** from One Stop came and placed an order for a part that our unit needed. In the 4.5 months since, we have not received any information from the company regarding the part other than a variety of different excuses. We have called and left messages a number of times with no reply or no relevant information provided. The rare times we are able to talk with someone from the company, a different excuse is given each time. While in this limbo, our two year warranty expired (July 2022), however it is our expectation that the part should still be replaced at no cost. If the part cannot be replaced, we should receive a new hvac unit all together as a warranty states.

I discovered that my HVAC has been leaking undetected and have since had to demo my home. I have been attempting to contact the company as they are the noted servicing people for our unit. After multiple calls and voicemails for two weeks I have googled only to discover that the company one stop heating and cooling has been acquired by ********* ************. I now will have to try some more to have someone come and assess my unit for it’s failure and hope that it under warranty still, as it was installed in 7/18.

We purchased a new Mattamy home on 01/2021. One Stop installed the HVAC system. The warranty was for 2 years. About 30 days ago we noticed the system not putting out as cold of air and the air is very humid with a metallic smell. I have tried to contact the company on 4 different occasions, 3 voice mails and 1 attempt to schedule service through their website. When I call, I wait on hold for about 10 min and then I am forced to leave a voice mail. The last time was 7/8/22, just last Friday. No one has attempted to call me back. I have tried their toll free number as well as their local number with the same results. This company has stopped responding to reasonable requests to schedule service.

Our home was built by ******* in 2018. One Stop Cooling & Heating installed our HVAC system. Since moving in we have had One Stop in our home to fix some balancing of the temperature issues. Currently this past year we have had a baby and are using another room in our home that has not been occupied since moving in and noticed the temperature in the room being warm and/or cold depending on the weather outside. I went up into the attic to adjust one of the baffles One Stop installed to see if this would resolve our problem. I noticed the installment of the ducts and connections were done incorrectly. The mastic had cracked and separated letting air leak out which is creating mold, this one section is not the only area. Upon looking at all connections, they all are cracking. One Stop did not use *********** **** prior to mudding the connections allowing them to separate. I have contacted One Stop multiple times to try and have them come out to look/resolve the issue but they continuously want to charge us for a service call when this issue is due to not being installed properly by them. When speaking with ******* ***, he refuses to resolve the issue and/or come out and inspect it himself without a service fee. We are looking for them to correct their mistake at no charge to us since this was their mistake.

*** ******, call stating that the flex duct connections were not installed correctly and provided photos of a few connections. As explained to *** ****** the flex duct connections were installed in accordance to building code and passed the building inspection, builder inspection and our quality check.

*** ****** is requesting One Stop Cooling and Heating come out and fix the connections that were not installed incorrectly. *** ****** also had concern for the mildew that has formed on some of the connections. This mildew is outside of the air stream and is caused by the attic environment, the cold air in the duct system cools the outside temperature of the duct and this will break the dewpoint in the attic and will condensate. This is a ******* environment and home owner temperature setting issue and One Stop Cooling and Heating cannot control the water vapor in the home's attic. in addition, One Stop Cooling and Heating has not been on his property since July of 2019 when we completed the air balance for customer satisfaction.

One Stop Cooling and Heating cannot control the conditions within *** ******'s home and or who has been in the attic that can affect the duct connections.

I understand *** ******'s concerns however due the fact he is out of warranty and the duct connections were installed in accordance to code One Stop Cooling and Heating feels this is a billable repair.

      Sincerely,

      ******* ***
