Installed part wrong and filled freon for it to all leak out. They wont come back out without us paying for Freon again, including service fees. Also, service technician was vulgar and rude after servicing our home. This company created a more costly problem for us and will not stand behind their work.

They sent a technician here to check my air they charge such a high price on refelling my refrigerant and they even cheat me on how much I need .

Total Air Care diagnosed that the unit was leaking. We need to replace the evap coil. We have an invoice signed by the homeowner referring to the repairs needed and the refrigerant needed. The home warranty does not cover the refrigerant portion of the repair, that is between the homeowner and the home warranty company. Please refer to them for questions regarding your coverage. They do have plans that cover the cost of refrigerant.

My AC went out on Wednesday afternoon. I called Total Air Care and they came out the next day. The technician was fantastic! He was able to diagnose and repair the machine within the first 40 minutes. He then examined and serviced both the inside and outside components to make sure that there were not any other issues. He was professional, experienced and efficient. The cost for the visit and repair was very reasonable. I will use and recommend them for all future HVAC issues.

I will give them zero stars if I could. Please do not call this company to provide any service to you I used them for AC services don't waste your money or time. Long story short their technicians do not have the knowledge to diagnose the problem. I had a totaled of four technicians come out just to make the problem worse and their customer service is extremely horrible. I had to call another AC company to fix what they refused to fix after the technician ruined parts that had to be replaced. Please do not use this company it stresses me just to talk about my experience with them. NEVER EVER AGAIN!!!

Total Air Care does not provide the same information on any call. They refuse to provide a contract on the additional work they state is necessary for a contract to be followed through with American Home Shield. Every time I receive a phone call it is different information. They want me to pay $199 for a permit to replace my air conditioner, when coj.net says a permit should only be $40, if necessary. They told me that almost $2,000 needed to be paid up front to complete my work though 1/3 of the fees are not needed. They state it must be paid but can be reimbursed but won't provide that in writing. This company is a joke. I would never suggest it to anyone. 3 weeks in and i am still waiting.

I can barely explain in words how deplorable this business is. I bought a home about a year ago and when winter came around I noticed my upstairs furnace heater was not working. Through my home warranty company at the time, I made the call to have it looked at. The first tech literally said I think I know the problem but I really dont know much about furnace heaters (I made it clear on my initial call that it was a furnace heater). Needless to say his diagnosis was incorrect so when tech #2 came out to install the part tech #1 thought I needed, nothing was fixed. #2 thought he had a different explanation for the issue. Then tech #3 comes out to implement tech #2s plan. Keep in mind several weeks are passing during this time in the winter without a functioning heater. #3 arrives, proceeds to completely take my furnace apart, says there is actually ANOTHER part that I need. He says they will order the part and in the meantime he will leave the furnace taken apart until they return. At this point the coldest part of winter is over. I wait and wait, and call and call, and was initially told this part was backordered. Weeks pass and eventually I am told the part is not available and they recommend I just replace the whole furnace. I get a second opinion from another company I independently paid, and it turns out there was likely a simple solution all along having to do with my thermostat. However my furnace remained not only taken apart but damaged by tech #3. So I called. And I called. Literally 8+ times I called. Simply asking that the furnace that tech #3 took apart be hooked back up in its prior state, nothing more. Over those 8+ calls I have been told every time that a manager will need to handle the case and they will call me back in ***** hours. This has not happened. I have literally begged for a solution to at least have someone call me back and they simply will not. Never in my life have I had such a negative experience with any company. I truly dont understand how they remain operational. Their techs are totally incompetent if the problem is not extremely straightforward, and continuity and communication are abysmal. I would never trust this company and strongly urge anyone considering using them to stay very far away. A truly unbelievably bad business.

This company was sent out through my home warranty company for a leak on the front of the unit. The technician said that the airlines had probably been clogged but they were clear now. The technician hooked up his gauges to my compressor and said everything looked good but when he disconnected the gauges Freon was let out of the system. Because of this the air conditioning is not working the way it did prior to the technician coming out. The ********************* sent the technician out a second time. The same technician told me that the system was working well and that the air conditioning was probably sucking in air from the garage and that's why the system would not cool even though prior to their first visit the system was working perfectly. My home warranty company is now sending out a second company for a second opinion to determine what the first company did to my system to make it ineffective. Would not recommend 100% stay far away from this company unless you want more problems!

My experience started with them on August 1st when our home warranty company paired us with them, they were unable to make it out to the property until August 4th. Upon arrival technician made the tenants aware that the high pressure switch needed to be replaced along with needing a re-up on Freon, they said they would need to wait for the part to come in before scheduling an appt. I call on Monday to confirm part is available and to get an appt scheduled, the woman spoke to said no its not in and I was still unable to schedule an appt, its now August 9th and the property has been without ** for 8 days. I call back on Tuesday, mind you I sit on hold between **** min before anyone actually picks up. I finally get **** on the phone and she said they still havent secured the part and I share with her how important it is to at least get an appt on the books because I dont want it pushed to the following week, she agrees and it gets scheduled for Thursday, August 12. Day of I receive A call from a technician, **** asking for payment for the Freon. I dont feel comfortable giving credit card numbers over the phone but I really dont have a choice, so I ask if they accept **************** and he says yes. I proceed to give him my 16 digit card number along with four digit code on the back and ZIP Code. He tells me they dont except **************** and I say OK, well what credit cards do you accept because I dont feel comfortable giving you another card number for you to tell me that you dont accept that form of payment. He proceeds to tell me that if I have an attitude he can just go ahead and leave and wont complete the job, I said **** Im trying to make a payment and you dont know what type of credit cards your company accepts. HE HANGS UP ON ME. I called total air care and get **** on the line and let her know of the situation and she has someone named **** give me a call back to receive payment and ensure the job is completed. I got a call from my tenant on Saturday that the ** is not working and the house is 80. I called total air care, left a voicemail on their emergency line letting them know what was going on and never received a call back. I called them Monday the 16th they told me that they wont be able to get a technician out there until Thursday, August 19. (That puts my tenants at now 18 days with no **) They send a technician out on Thursday, and the technician let us know that **** did a terrible job installing the high pressure switch and would need to order the same part and come back out and have it installed. I am now throwing an absolute fit on the phone telling them that someone needs to get out there the following day, no excuses Im not waiting for the following week to have an appointment scheduled. I believe I spoke to ***** and she was able to get an appointment scheduled for the next day, Friday August 20th and too much of my dismay hi find out that they are again sending **** out to do the same job that he messed up last time. He was supposed to be there between 8 AM and 12 PM on Friday and did not end up showing up till after 230. I get a call from my tenant around 5 PM on Friday stating that **** left without leaving any paperwork or communicating anything and that the ** was still not working. We ended up calling another ** technician on Saturday and he was able to go out on Sunday morning and not only fix and replace the high-pressure switch that **** messed up again but found the true issue which was a capacitor and was able to replace that same day. It took 20 days of dealing with Total Air Care and $800 for them to not even fix the issue. DO. NOT. USE. THIS. COMPANY.
