On May 13 2024 I visited Appliance Liquidation. A young man was behind the counter was playing on his phone. I told him I was looking for a dryer, he got up and said "this is the row where the dryers are" and went back behind the desk and to his phone. I chose a dryer that I thought I could afford and told him so. They take credit cards only and the only thing he told me about the dryer was that it had a crack, but came with the manufacturer's warranty. I assumed I could get it repaired under the warranty. I paid him with my credit card and gave him my email address as he could not print out a receipt. Upon arriving home I immediately looked at my receipt and discovered it was a gas dryer for which I have no use. I called the support line and left a message about how I did not need a gas dryer but an electric one. After not hearing from them I emailed them and stated I was invoking my buyers remorse statute and that if I did not hear from them I would be reporting them to you. I called my credit card *** and asked them to dispute the charges. I also sent them a second email to which I have yet had any response. I have asked them for a refund and have not seen a warranty. I also have not picked up the dryer.I am a 71 yr old senior citizen on a below poverty income and I cannot afford not to have my money refunded.
