This company is a scam with numerous lawsuits and complaints. It's a family operation. The company went inactive after numerous complaints and lawsuits, but as of January 2023, it is "Pening Reinstatement" on Sunbiz.org, ********* ***** of Corporations with a principle address for which he has no lease. ************************* has operated under a variety of *** names in *******, ****************** They include Duval Paving; Atlantic Asphalt; Divine Paving; Armour ********************************************** Armour ********************************************** J&J Paving; J&J Paving, *********************************** ***'s Sealcoating. In my case, it was Atlantic Asphalt in ************. He took 1/3 down as a deposit to fix my driveway--work was never done. There was always an excuse until I could no longer reach him by phone or email. He shut Atlantic Asphalt down and a month later started Armour ********************************************* in ***********, using an address for which he had no lease. A warrant was issued for his arrest for grand theft and scheme to defraud April 30, 2023.Review from Leann G

We hired Duval Paving to put in an asphalt milling drive and RV parking pad. The job is complete (about half satisfied with the work:, they dumped ******************** in our front yard and didnt clean it up; they sent their unskilled helpers who needed direcion and constant supervision on how to do the job properly. It is only minimally satisfactory, not outstanding for what we paid). The job was completed on a Monday, but they didnt take their equipment which remains parked on our property (skid steerer, roller, asphalt paving machine, a small trailer and a pick up truck with a large trailer). We have texted and called 4 days in a row with NO response at all. Their website no longer exists, the phone number on their internet listing always rings as busy. Our next step will be to contact sheriff and lawyer about their abandoned equipment on our property. Highly recommend you do NOT employ this company.Review from Paul C

Competitive quote and started quickly thereafter. They just never finished the job. Parking bumpers not secured to the new pavement. Its been almost 6 mos. since they stopped, but despite committing to finish, seeming to want to finish, and scheduling it twice, y try heres been no action. Paid over $6k Deposit for a nearly $20K job back in November 2021. He deposited our check and we've never seen him since. We reached out to him every month since and was given excuses for why they missed the time frames and never showed up to start the work. Not once did they reach out to us when they weren't going to show up, we had to reach out and ask what was going on, then wait for an email reply only to get another excuse for why there weren't here and was provided with another no show. It's been over 4 months. We asked for refund and he refused however the estimate does not state non-refundable.I suggest anyone looking to do business with this company or it's owner / agent do their research first. Check sunbiz.org by business name and by agent. Duval Paving llc is INACTIVE with the **************** ******** of Corporations and their website is off line.
