It's very sad and unfortunate that I have to do this and go this route especially for a BLACK owned women business. I would do the same if it was a white owned business. But black owned businesses need to do better in the customer service department. But it has almost been a month after my husband's party. I have contacted both chef bear and her assistant ***** more than once and that includes leaving an email as well. Chef Bear forgot two items at my party. My invoice was almost ******* if you want to round it up. I paid a lot for her catering service. She has A LOT of other fees and on top of that she charges automatic gratuity. First she forgot the Mango Lemonade that I paid for. I actually caught that and she was able to bring that back but then in the middle of the party I realized that I didn't have any eggs in which i paid for. Of course I was the host and the party planner so I was busy. After the party I went through the proper protocol and reached out to Chef bears assistance *****. She was very rude to me and told me I would not receive any money back because I did not have any eggs on my invoice. I had to screen shot my invoice with an arrow pointing next to the cheese eggs. ***** thought I was speaking of devil eggs. Once she realized her mistake she didn't even apologize all she said is that she is on medical leave. I contacted her wanting some type of compensation for the eggs I paid for that were left out somehow. I was told that I would receive a response within 24 to ************************************************************************************************************** ***** no nothing.... but I see chef bear posts on her Instagram almost daily. I will not be recommending Skinny Cafe to anyone even though there were plenty of compliments on her food. How do you charge automatic gratuity and you cant even provide proper customer service? Chef Bear hasn't even contacted me to pick up her container or these Warming trays that are hers....
